Mitt Romney thrills throngs of admirers in Apopka (Florida tonight)
Orlando Sentinel ^ | 10/6/2012 | Scott Powers

The Romney campaign said it took in RSVPs from 14,000 to 15,000 people to the event, though it did not know how many actually came. Apopka Chief Administrative Officer Richard Anderson said earlier the amphitheater had a capacity of about 10,000. The place was overflowing, and most of the last few thousand people, at least, who arrived had to fight through crawling traffic. Many people abandoned their cars along the roads' grassy shoulders and walked a mile or more to get to the park.

But these people were happy to be there together, and having watched Romney's debate performance last week, they were feeling like winners. They thundered a welcome when Romney and his wife, Ann, took stage, then cheered and roared repeatedly through his 23-minute speech.

They and Romney caught a major break when vicious evening thunderstorms rolled over menacingly but passed Apopka by, leaving just a few sprinkled drops.

Romney began by describing the debate as a clear expression of his and Obama's visions for America. But he also portrayed the debate as an opportunity for him to ask questions of Obama that others could or would not on topics ranging from why the health-care law was a bigger priority than jobs and why he was canceling drilling permits on federal lands.

Among new details, Romney promised to double the number of drilling permits approved on federal lands, to open Alaska to more oil exploration and to "build that pipeline from Canada if I have to do it myself."

Holy smokes that looks like a big crowd. I went to a Bush/Cheney rally pre-2000 election in Sarasota. There wasn’t near that many people there.

I would encourage everyone to watch this Florida speech. Very encouraging and from the heart. Mitt just keeps getting better! It’s only about 27:00, and well worth the time!

sheikdetailfeather was kind enough to provide the link in their earlier post, but just in case you may have missed it, here it is again:

My understanding is that Portman is a good person to practice against. He studies the opposition’s candidate, attempts to use his mannerisms and really tries to get under the skin of the person he is training.

“I saw the one with Hyuna...”

She’s the gal that’s on the subway train in the first one? She is really gorgeous.

I love how in that vid all the gals have low heeled shoes, I just noticed it, they are all in sneakers, I appreciate that!

Oh Yi-na asks "Are you still watching Hyuna videos?!"
Seriously, if we catch her at the right moment, Oh Yi-na can be a better model for Rage Monkey than the drawings Laz uses. She has the funniest facial expressions I have ever seen, there is NO other good reason to watch such a pedestrian TV show as "Ms Panda and Mr Hedgehog"

IMHO

I doubt that is possible, she’s Korean like Hyuna and probably pays no attention to American politics.
.............

Oh Yi-na has kind of a secondary part on a Korean TV show (a cable channel at that) called “Ms Panda and Mr Hedgehog”. It’s not that good of a show but her character is amazingly funny. Her facial expressions are pretty wild and her character talks like a guy and everything.

............

That character and actress needs to have their own show.

More people at one campaign stop/speech for Romney than the whole DNC convention in Charlotte N.C. ?

Florida will go big time for Romney/Ryan. The I-4 corridor (Orlando), the entire east coast and west coasts, the east, from West Palm Beach north, the west the entire coast line, Dade county will all come in strong for Romney/Ryan. Northern Florida, the Panhandle sector is pure “Red”.

Note: Am beginning to see many car bumper and car window stickers for Ryan/Romney in WPB, Stuart, Cocoa Beach, Orlando & the west coast!!! Funny, Obama stickers just about non-existant across the state, except for certain tiny areas like Riveria Beach!!!
