Team Obama Blames John Kerry for Debate Loss
breitbart.com ^ | 6 Oct 2012 | ALEXANDER MARLOW

From CBS's "This Morning":

Norah O'Donnell: "Some Democrats say [Obama's] campaign needs a wake-up call.  Bill Plante is here with that part of the story.  Bill, you've been talking to your sources; what are they saying?

Correspondent Bill Plante: "Well Norah, they're simply upset and really outraged.  They blame the President's team, first of all, for not preparing him to meet the challenge of an aggressive Mitt Romney.  They say that nobody in the room challenged him, including the guy that he was debating with, John Kerry, because, as they say, he wants to be Secretary of State so he's not going to get in the President's face. And Presidents are used to deference; they're not used to people challenging them like that.  So they think that the debate prep was terrible, but they also fault the President himself for not understanding that Romney was going to be more aggressive."

The 2012 Obama campaign continues to be a stark contrast from their 2008 effort.  In 2008, then Senator Obama used youthful ebullience, soaring rhetoric, and a precise campaign infrastructure to capture the hearts and minds of the American people.  In 2012, the President seems increasingly lethargic and quick to make excuses for missteps on the campaign trail.

What once was "Hope and Change" is now "Mope and Blame," and this time it's John Kerry under the President's bus.

Well, heck! Obviously the debate was unfair. They didn’t let Obama use his TelePrompTer.

“So many excuses have been made for Obama, that it’s laughable.”

I’d laugh, but we have men being killed in Afghan, the foreign non-policy is a disaster, the phoney jobs numbers and the economic mess which will culminate in the reporting of the worst corporate earnings season since this mess started, keep me sober.

It’s infuriating to see the Man/Child posturing to the stupid people while this country spins out-of-control.

The lengths to which the MSMObamaPac will go to in order to protect Obama from any blame is mind boggling. Utterly mind boggling...They protect a man from all question or blame because he is black, or half-black...if I were a black man in this country I would be sorely ashamed.

I guess Obama was for Kerry, before he was against him

“And Presidents are used to deference; they’re not used to people challenging them like that.”

Right...

I’m sure that Dick Cheney NEVER challenged either Bush. Rumsfeld never challenged either Ford or Bush.

A good president chooses competent advisers with integrity and backbone.

A narcissistic president chooses sycophants.

There’s a difference between being prepared - willing to recite your beliefs, and being aggressive.

If you look a man in the eye (something Obama can’t do) and cite your beliefs and plans and reasons why you disagree, and you do this with a smile on your face, and you do it with conviction, it is not “agressive”...it’s called honest.

I would, too. But that would require forays and sorties into deep enemy territory (MSNBS, CBS, ABC, NBC, et al).....at my age, exposure to extreme illogical ideology and insane people might send me over the edge of rage.

Who does Team Obama think they are persuading with this litany of 4th grade excuses for the US President, for Pete’s sake? They sound like they are speaking to their delusional base, rather than the undecideds whom they need to persuade.

At this point in history, so many people have worked or gone to school with affirmative action candidates who are coddled and held to a much lower standard of behavior and performance. Lets say you’ve been negatively affected by this in your own life. Now you are paying $4/gallon gas, $50 every time you buy a few things at the grocery store, and watching America’s solvency and strength dissolve because this administration doesn’t know what it is doing.

The Ambassador’s dead body was dragged thru the streets because the State Dept. is too naive and incompetent to provide security. If you are even remotely on the fence, a group that excludes entrenched parasites and immature kids, how do you say, “Yes, I reject the idea of hiring two successful, stable adults. I want 4 more of Team Obama/Biden whining that you can’t hold affirmative action hires to the same standards as other Presidents?”

I thought according to Obama everything is George Bush’s fault? Still you can’t top Al Gore’s explanation of the altitude... though from watching the debate Denver might not have been the only thing to be a mile high.

You are precisely correct. The left is a ‘drive-by’ group - they shout out some insane factoid and off they go. They are not prepared to be challenged in real debate. None of them. It is the modus operandi of left-wing mouthpieces, and we see it all the time on any news show that features some semblance of debate - the leftie shouts out some opinion or unsupported factoid and keeps shouting over everybody else in the conversation. That is why it is fun for me to watch somebody like Artur Davis, because he has the experience to go up against leftie commentators.

A sure sign of fearing a DICTATOR!

1. It was the altitude in Denver.
2. Obama not used to debating.
3. The real Romney didn’t show up.
4. Romney threw out so many falsehoods that Obama couldn’t keep up with them all.
5. Obama doesn’t watch MSNBC to get talking points.
6. Jim Lehrer didn’t moderate the debate properly, so it was unfair to Obama.
7. And now John Kerry didn’t prepare him for the debate properly.
8. Romney cheated by bringing notes to the lectern (which was, in reality, his handkerchief) or he used "Bush's" earpiece to get the answers.

I numbered them so I could see just how many excuses there were. I also added the last one as those are currently being touted in DUmmieLand.

I hope they just keep on playing the blame game and Obama stays just as he was for the next two debates!

Of course, because NOTHING is ever Obama's fault or responsibility.

But really, what else would anyone expect with John French Kerry doing the debate prep? His forte is finding rich women for marrying.

Bill Maher comment, "Obama looked like he took my million dollars and spent it all on weed".

Did you ever think you'd agree with Bill Maher? LOL

After the debate last week, John Kerry walked into a bar - the bartender walked over to him and said “John...why the long face?”.....
