Romney has strong scores and little downside to making them public. Without demanding or even asking that Obama release his own records, the press and public would expect equal disclosure from this "most transparent" administration ever. Obama can't comply and this leaves would leave lingering questions.
It'd likely be a big part of a day or two news cycle. I don't see any downside.
Romney blew the tax return issue out of the water and proved Reid a liar. Seems like this would be a smart follow up.

That is exactly why I quit listening to Hannity. That and his spiel about the credo (or whatever) of the muslim brotherhood. After you’ve heard it 10,000 times, it kind of grates on you. Learn some new stuff, Sean.

MSM is no longer what it was. Internet and Fox are out there. Plus the MSM is a reactive bunch. Create the news story and they report it. They’ll put the ball in Obama’s court from there.

Still, Obama is thin skinned. Release them 2 days before a debate without asking Obama to do anything or mentioning Obama. MSM will create the story from there. The unilateral disclosure raises the question in the public’s mind.
Mitt did do his tax returns. That was a daily drum beat before he did.

I disagree. I think it would begin to explain his utter failure to assemble a cogent though during a debate! That and all his Chooming!
You notice some of his Hollywood friends think he was smoking dope before the debate. I’m sure he smoked plenty in college as well.
Romney should say, “should everyone running for President release their records on their first term or do they have the option to release them before their possible second term?”
An honest an unbiased media would have done this years ago.
