...We should not be tempted to politicize our courts. Of course, there is nothing wrong about debating the pros and cons of court rulings, but our judges should not be tempted to decide cases based on politics rather than merits. Decisions must be based on honest interpretation of the law. We should demand impartial judges. We do not want them out raising money for campaigns.

Of course they do. And they should when past rulings are in error.
But they should not inject their own personal preferences into the process. I realize that it is very difficult to isolate such influences, but the notion that they will do so is precisely why they are given such enormous power and prestige.
I hope you are successful. I love it when liberals are afraid of the Tea Party in elections.
Vote jurists out?
Nah,
Just hang and tar the bad ones
Amendments on the 2012 ballot:

Umm.. Yeah, and when they DO decide cases based on politics rather than merits, they need to be VOTED OUT.
Hello?
Go to the Florida forum...there is vigorous discussion. We don’t all agree. :) But at least you’ll know what the issues are.
The basic disagreement on most of them, though, is that some of us feel the legislature ought to do what some of these amendments are doing. Others of us feel these are worthy ideas justifiable by putting into the state Constitution.
I totally agree with you, just putting this up for a “heads up” that the liberal judges are scared.
Yes, the official Florida Republican voter’s guide says to vote all three out!
In that case, Justice Pariente -- in particular -- should not have decided Bush vs Gore in such a partisan political manner, should she have?
She made a patently dishonest interpretation of the law and deserves to be sent packing to the judicial boneyard.
Go get 'er, FLA FReepers and Tea Partiers.
Splendid!
Thanks, Matchett! See ya soon!
Go here for Voter Guide on these three liberal Justices.

ALL three get F grades on these issues:
Homeowners rights
Patients rights
Right to vote
Education
Criminal justice
Junk lawsuits
Remind everyone who will listen: These were the three judges that defied the US Sup Ct ruling to stop ordering ballot recounts in an attempt to skew the Florida election results!
Of course it is simple [except to an elitist Democrap]: The U.S. Constitution says that each state legislature shall determine a means of appointing a board of electors to represent their state in the Electoral College... The legislature could have named a Boy Scout troop to attend the electoral College. In short: these three judges were attempting to overthrow a Constitutional principle in order to influence an election.
It hardly needs mentioning that the media never revealed this legal point . . . BECAUSE the media are a bunch of traitors hoping to do their part in overthrowing the legal foundations of this country!!!
