So, my boyfriend Justin’s been avoiding a mysterious caller coming from the number (720) 582-8383 for the last week and this morning I told him to just take the call because it was most likely a political survey and I’d answer it for him. It was a research company in Denver, Colorado hired by Rahm Emanuel to poll Chicagoans about what they think of him. I had an awful lot of fun taking this survey and telling the pollster how bad a job Rahm is doing…and was interested in the amount of emphasis that was given to Rahm’s dealings with the police and the scary rise in crime and murder that’s been happening in Chicago for the last couple of years.
If you don’t answer pollsters when they call you, I wish you’d reconsider that because it’s actually a lot of fun. About midway through the survey, though, I have to admit my eyes did start to glaze over because the guy who called me was not very good at his job and went through it all in a monotone that made me itching to hang up. I bet a lot of people do indeed hang up or get bored as the questions just keep coming. The whole call took about 12 minutes or so to finish. Justin, of course, didn’t want to talk to the man on the phone but was fascinated by my talking to him and camped down on the floor by my desk while I went through the survey.
First the pollster asked to speak to “Justin” and I said that was me (since Justin didn’t want to talk to anyone) and he then asked if I still lived in Chicago, which I did.

Interesting point! I’d never thought of it that way, but it’s true. All of the males in Obama’s life are fantasy males that he’s been trying to claim as role models, although it’s clear that in most cases he barely knew them or didn’t even know them at all (in the case of his father).
How did we manage to elect such a psychological freak show?
I’m not sure who will win. It won’t be Obama, because I don’t think he’ll even be in the game; if he loses, I’ll bet that he’s going to leave the country. He may go to Hawaii temporarily, but I think he’ll probably end up somewhere else (although he may leave the lovely Moochelle in Hawaii).
Obama has always thought that he was destined for the worldwide recognition and dominance and I think he has considered himself to be biding his time as US president.
If there’s a real civil war among the Dems, the whole party may collapse, leaving nothing but a very radical leftist third party that may take the Dem name, while non-radical Dems will begin to register as “Independents.”
Obama was supposed to be under Bill Clinton’s thumb, You will note that the whole Obama admin, almost to a man (if not actually to a man) was old Bill Clinton people. And his program was Clinton-designed.
We were waiting for that bubble to burst, and what we waited for was the resignation of Greg Craig. Craig was Clinton’s Obama-handler, and when he left that meant the cannon was loose.
So this whole Bill Clinton charade is just that. He didn’t do Zero any favors. Just the opposite.

Some years ago I answered a political phone survey. They asked the same questions multiple ways and that’s so that they can have various statistics from which to select when they choose to publish their data.
Two things....didn’t Jesus say something about “If thy right arm offends thee, cut it off, and if thy right eye offends thee, pluck it out. Better to enter heaven a cripple or blind than be cast into Hell”...or something along those lines?
Its not like certain FReepers here who think Zero should be re-elected instead of voting for Romney because God needs to punish America for her alleged sins.
All I want to see destroyed in California is San Francisco. Pelosi’s district needs to go, along with the 49’ers.....;-)
Let Kevin be Kevin, I found him here on FR about 2 years ago and go to his site often, the dude can write. Unless you write or been published it may not ring true, but IMHO he can, and quite frankly it is becoming a lost art. I can think of a handful of conservative authors in the last year that have penned something that really held my interest. I think Rush picked up on one of his stories and went national with it a while back. If so, he's got some street cred IMHO...

My dream is that happens. There is a massive voter realignment.
Party 1: Conservatives & rational libertarians form a major party,
Party 2: RINOs and moderate democrats form a major party
Hard core Rat leftists & “All-I-Care-About-Is-Legalizing-Drugs” libertarians form a minor party. Which suffers the fate of all minor parties in our system, becomes a form of political comedic entertainment!
Our system was purposely designed by the Founding Father's to minimize “factions”, basically what they called political parties. The minimal number without being a one party state is two! Our system forces political fighting down to that number. That's why you see third parties come and go but never stay.(OK some do survive but they just hang around on the fringe and screech!) They usually form around one or two (usually related!) issues. Those issues either get adopted into one of the political parties or are resoundingly rejected by the American voter.
Party 1 will argue for minimalist approach to government in our lives.
Party 2 will argue for somewhat more government.
That dialog will hopefully produce good government.
I would not be worried sick for 4 years if Party 2 won a national election like I am now. It would be refreshing.
Yeah yeah none of this is likely, but a fellow can dream can't he?
People have been expecting a realignment to happen with the GOP...but I think it’s much more likely that the Dems will either implode and cease to exist at all, or will divide into two factions.
Heck if non-radical Dems break clear from the socialist swamp they are currently trapped together with - I might just pay more attention to them.
I would like a more serious GOP, and a less socialist Dem party to join.
Not yet probably, but that day is approaching.
Leave the globalizing GOP and the socialist Dems as the second and third party. Build one PATRIOTIC centrist party, standing up for American jobs.
What is partly standing in the way of that, is the eagerness of (many) in the GOP to export American jobs. That and the lack of conviction from the non-socialist Democrats.
They have become trapped. They don’t support the dems, but the GOP is not one bit better.
If we can get the GOP to step selling out American jobs, we can build a new America.
Unfortunately the issue of the states actually checking for eligibility still remains. Remember, put Zero aside for a moment, a naturalized citizen (I assume he was a legal citizen!) originally from Guatemala (or one of the Central American nations!) got on the ballot in 18 states back in the 1980s or 1990s. The SOS’s of those states were either too stupid or just criminally lazy to do their jobs and protect their respective state's ballots. It's not relevant he was a minor party candidate and had no chance of winning. He was unconstitutionally on those ballots! Those SOS’s betrayed their oaths of office to their state and their nation.

The most important surrogate father of all was the radical Chicago and Honolulu communist, Frank Marshall Davis. He was RABIDLY anti-American and took his orders directly from Moscow. He was a close personal mentor, virtually a surrogate father, for Obama age 10 to 18, after his birth father and adoptive father both abandoned him. His mother also abandoned him at age 10 and sent him to live with Grandma and Grandpa. Obama has serious personality defects arising from his multiple abandonments.
I’m reading “The Communist” and Davis’ writings from the Chicago Star and Honolulu Record (both communist organs) sound JUST LIKE Obama today. In the 40s, Davis hated “big business” and General Motors in particular. Now Obama owns it. There are just TOO MANY coincindences.
