I do not find this to be a surprise at all. What is surprising is that they have done such a poor job in trying to cover it up. However, ego and intelligence rarely go together.
This has huge implications in terms of where the funding is coming from. Since the Obama campaign is not recording satisfactory information related to small CC donations, and we now know those are being funneled through a shady site, all funds need to be questioned.

It seems to me that anyone who wanted to know could trace TARP and Stimulus money right back to the BO campaign. Chinese money? Why not? That spends just as well.
If anyone ever asks and digs it will not be the least bit of surprise to find the same TARP and Stimulus money eventually making its way right back into a personal account for BO somewhere. It need not be Swiss or Caymans... China, Singapore, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur... any of these will do just as well. Besides, they are closer to Hawaii and in the same area where he will be giving his highly “compensated” speeches.
Will he ever be investigated? NO way. Far to embarrassing, far too controversial. He is going to get off scott free even if caught red handed walking into the bank, straight to the vault then out the front door with bags of money.

We investigate all of the illegal actions and donations by the Chinese. We slap some gigantic fines on them. Those fines will cancel out what we owe them.
