Obama ad: Romney is 'reckless' with foreign policy

s Mitt Romney delivers a foreign policy address Monday in Virginia, he'll be met with a new television ad by his opponent's re-election campaign that highlights the GOP nominee as "reckless" and "amateurish" on international affairs.

President Barack Obama's team released a new commercial that they say will run on Virginia airwaves, which criticizes Romney over his recent forays into foreign policy, including his foreign trip and comments on the Libya consulate attack.

The 30-second spot features critical news clips of what the commercial calls Romney's "gaffe-filled" trip to England, Israel and Poland. During his tour, the Republican was accused of insulting Palestinian culture and criticizing London's handling of the Olympic Games.

Romney also faced negative headlines over his quick response to the consulate attack in Benghazi, Libya that killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans. Soon after word broke of the violence, the GOP nominee fired off a statement blasting the Obama administration, a reaction many labeled too critical and too soon.

How conveeeenient. The Democrat msm wrote all the “gaffe” stories about Romney’s European trip to provide news clips for Obama to use in campaign ads. It’s great to have enablers in the press.

The old USSR despots depended on the press to control the people, however, most Russians were smarter than that. In the USA, the jury is still out.

Obama ad: Romney is 'reckless'

Actually ? Obama's ad is right.

Before you guys start trowing rotten tomatoes at me, listen carefully, our side needs to learn how to SPIN SPIN SPIN this.

He's right, Romney's foreign policy is " LESS OF A WRECK " since he has not been elected president ... yet.

Obama's foreign policy is wreck more... not wreck less..

"The Democrat msm wrote all the gaffe stories"

While that is true, the press has written extensively about the likelihood that Romney's foreign policy team would be dominated by NeoCons.

The upcoming speech is at VMI. Last Oct Romney named 22 foreign policy advisors dominated by NeoCons and gave a foreign policy speech at the Citadel which was written by NeoCon Fred Kagan. Since then, Romney's closest advisors have been NeoCons lead by NeoCon Dan Senor.

OTOH, about 6 weeks ago, Robert Zoellick was named to head Romney's national security transition team, but it is not clear whether Romney picked him or Mike Leavitt picked him. It is also not clear whether or not Zoellick would have a key job as Romney's SoS or SecDef.

You’ve got to be kidding me. Do people really believe this silliness? Romney is not to be trusted on foreign policy based on one trip, where the MSM deemed some banalities mentioned by Romney to be “gaffes” (Obama and Biden of course never produce real gaffes), and based on Romney’s quite legitimate and correct criticism of the Cairo Embassy’s appeasement of Islamist protesters (a criticism shortly echoed by the State Department itself), which the MSM without any justification deemed to be much worse than the Obama administration’s response to the murder of our Ambassador and others in Libya.

Pure Alinsky! Accuse your opponent of what you are guilty of doing.

Up until Romney is elected president, he has no foreign policy. Bambi owns this and he knows it. Deflect, deflect, deflect!

Alinsky tactic:

Accuse your opponent of what you yourself are already doing.

That way they will take the media hit and when it is found out that you yourself are doing it then it will be no big deal.
