AMSTERDAM -- Joran van der Sloot, who is serving a 28-year-sentence for murdering a young Peruvian woman, has impregnated a woman while imprisoned in Lima, according to a Dutch newspaper.

((snip))

The woman, identified by the paper only as "Leidi," was said to have become pregnant during an unsupervised visit with Van der Sloot.

It seems the more heinous violence the prisoner has done against women the more of them are lining up outside his cell to bear his children.

He is also wanted in the United States in connection with the disappearance of teenager Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005. He could resist extradition if he obtains Peruvian nationality.

Well, we know that Baraq doesn't like to break up immigrant families. He's earned himself a stay in Peru away from America's death penalty.

Indeed, incarceration in this prison was supposed to be as good as a death sentence. Well, unless this woman is ugly enough to be considered part of van der Sloot's punishment, I'm afraid that the Peruvian prison system isn't living up to its reputation.

I guess the perp's family can afford the "luxury package". Why they continue to support this little turd is the baffling part... it's not as though he was convicted on circumstantial evidence.

Joran Ping.

Here's a comment from another website:

"She was paid to have his kid so that he can get citizenship. The guards were paid also. He will not be extradited ever now. Like Ronald Biggs in Brazil."

Unfortunately, capital punishment in Peru is currently legal only during times of international or civil war. So it was not applicable in the van Der Sloot case.

Obtaining citizenship status through illegal means is fraud in the US and if proven will not achieve the desired result. Hopefully, Peruvian law is the same.
