If it was impromptu stopping, The Secret Service was having a cow..........

I would imagine it's not too stressful for the SS. If it's an unplanned stop, it's not possible that there is a coordinated attack awaiting them.

And a bunch of lady schoolteachers and elementary school kids are unlikely to have an armed nutjob lurking about who will finally have his dream of a spontaneous assassination opportunity present itself.

I’ve been very hesitant to say that Romney will win, however, since the debate and seeing and hearing the wonderful person that Romney is - I concur with your statement.

Your guessing. I have a friend who used to work in the WH under Bush #1. These kinds of things don’t happen often, but they do happen. If it was a staged event at a school full of teachers and they are selling it as impromptu, how long do you suppose it would last before the truth go out? I mean seriously - if it was staged and they are lying about it, it will take 10 minutes for that fact to get out. The Romney team isn’t that stupid.

You gotta lighten up Badger. Sometimes what you see is all there is. Romney is a good and decent man no matter what else he is.

Fairfield is not far from Virginia Military Institute, where the governor spoke. People knew he would be in the area, so it stands to reason the kids were on the lookout.

How cool for those kids.
