Meaning it's wrong for black thugs to beat and rob his students, but if they do it to rich whites in the suburbs then it is a "tenable" form of reparations?
Let me guess...VCU is a gun free campus with a 1000 foot perimeter of “gun-freeness”.
Right?
There have been a LOT of crimes on or near the VCU campus this year, something I am aware of because my daughter is living there this year, and she likes to call me at 3am to tell me they are shooting outside her apartment complex.
For a while, her building was also having nightly false fire alarms, which forced them out on the street while all this crime was going on.
Sadly, I think there is crime all over Richmond, and the crime at VCU is getting attention because a lot of people from the suburbs send their kids to that school — and they aren’t used to the nightly criminal activity.
Yep. When my daughter wrote one night on their facebook page that there was a shooting right outside her apartment during their fire drill, I posted back that this was impossible, because the school was gun-free and so there was no way a criminal would ever risk firing a gun there.
Most of the respondents seem to have gotten the sarcasm.
I understand more than a few kids are carrying weapons despite the ban. They live off-campus, and need the protection, and so they just risk getting caught on campus (having the right to carry is useless if you have to go places where they prohibit guns).
Left off of this list was the murder of a VCU student this past weekend. He was just off campus at a party by a simlar group of suspects.

Makes perfect sense to me. Have you ever tried wearing pajama pants with chili peppers in them?
