The White House has not held a press briefing in the last 15 days, according to records on the White House's website. The last one was held on September 24, 2012, by White House press secretary Jay Carney.
However, in that 15 day time period, and including today, there have been 11 press gaggles. Nine have been conducted by Carney, while 2 have been held by principal deputy press secretary Josh Earnest. Campaign surrogates David Axelrod and traveling press secretary Jen Psaki have participated in the gaggles.

The press is definitely souring. This last few weeks we have seen more negative MSM than has occurred in the last 3 years.
At this rate by the end of next week we could see a complete implosion. By the time of the next debate I’d laugh if Obummer was blubbering like a teenager.

This Administration has so destroyed the credibility of what used to be the “press” that advertisers may be reluctant to place advertising dollars with so-called MSM news channels after the election.
No need for the King to lower himself and permit his media serfs to batter him with foolish questions.

Obamessiah and his duplicitous minions have also "screwed the pooch" by botching the cooking of the books with ludicrous faux unemployment numbers.
The boy/man Obama does not dare show his face to answer questions because he can't. His entire record on every level is indefensible! Hence he hides from the press. Too bad for him he can't hide from Romney and two more debates. He is about to become "toast" and chopped liver all at the same time.
IF Obamessiah tries to duck the debates or create some phony pretense in order to avoid them like starting a war, bombing an aspirin factory, etc. ...all Romney needs to do is show up wit an "Empty Chair" and hold his own "Eastwood debate" for an hour! Not only will it drive home the point, it will just reinforce the truth: There is NOTHING THERE! Obamessiah is an empty man, in an empty suit, spouting empty words, comprising empty promises, which he HAS NOT and CAN NOT KEEP.
If this were GW Bush, the press would be in a feeding frenzy....and his "laziness" and "lack of transparency" would be all over the news and punditry programs.
But, then, of course, since the only news Obama has to talk to the press about is the death watch now in process for Big Bird why have a presser when nothing more is really going on.
