It would be interesting to know if this coincides with Romney unleashing a tsunami of ads starting about a week or so ago. Obviously ideas matter in politics. But without money for ads, no one will hear of your ideas. IMO, McCain might have won in 2008 if he had not been outspent 3 to 1. His idiotic pledge to limit himself to Federal matching funds killed his chances of winning.

The dems are furiously trying to find something, anything to get Romney on. Anything will do. The Big Bird flap failed. The dog on car roof thing won’t convince too many people. No one will believe sexual allegations. Their last resort will be to “find” someone who is willing to claim that Romney is racist, in return for several thousand dollars.
