Skip to comments.Empty Set Chair: Obama Backer Beyoncé Bows Out of Eastwood Film

Beyoncé is one of the biggest stars in the country, a beautiful singer at the top of her profession.
She isn't an A-list movie star... yet.
Her work in the celebrated "Dreamgirls" didn't make that happen, nor did appearances in "The Pink Panther," "Obsessed" or "Austin Powers in Goldmember."
Clint Eastwood could have changed all that. The actor/director wanted Beyoncé to star in his planned remake of "A Star Is Born." Any Eastwood project is instantly Oscar bait, and his track record suggests he could have transformed the stunning chanteuse into an A-lister with just one film.
Now, we'll never know.
Beyoncé has backed out of the Eastwood production, citing the proverbial scheduling issues. It's certainly possible, but what star wouldn't clear his or her schedule to secure such a plum role?

Hollywood is as fickle as a teenager when it comes to beauty and popularity. Today’s ‘star’ is tomorrow’s has-been. Notice how today’s starlets try to emulate Cher with her single Nom de Guerre.......
And so is video.
Currently I am 6'3" and weigh 278 and sing baritone/tenor and with the technology I have in my home made studio I could make a video of myself singing and sounding and looking like Beyonce'
Yes it would take several months to get it done but it is amazing what digital technology is capable of. With some of the newer Morphing video software its astonishing how realistic one can make a digital composite of a live action figure. It takes many hours and lots of tweaking and editing but its not all that expensive now (especially since lots of the "Cracked" software is available to download on the internet for free.)
And truth be know I bet Beyonce' has had her image altered in those videos cuz I swear her backside always looks way bigger when she is on live TV as opposed to her videos.
She was just at that Hollywood fundraiser for Obama.
Even with her, it would probably be better than the version
Barbra Streisand produced as a vehicle for herself 35 years ago, a vanity production so transparent that even the Village Voice, a far left publication, titled the review of it
“A Bore is Starred”.
Ugly, no-talent except Obamunism, and a model for the a**-injection fad.
One of the most unlikeable critters in showbiz.
Tsk, I am positive Mr Eastwood is simply devastated.
Clint should offer the role to Stacey Dash...
” You mean oversing, why sing one note, when you can sing ten?”
A person with class wouldn't want anything to do with Obama.
If a mocha colored lady is needed, how about Stacey Dash? Her brain, unlike this bims, isnt located in her ass.
Good Lord. Can Stacey even sing? She was on Clueless for goodness sake. Now are you saying that because she is pro-Romney she should be chosen for the part??? Sounds a bit like since she is black, she must vote for Obama. To me you should want to get the best actress/singer possible regardless of political interests.
“A lot of people poke fun and that’s alright
But when I start pokin’ back they get all uptight”
I Am The Bullgod Lyrics -
Everything about Stacey Dash would make her an improvement over Beyonce, including her rear end, which among the remaining American men with testosterone in their bloodstream, is hailed as a national treasure.
She is not "mocha", her skin is like wild honey...made from flowers gathered from many nations...she's an ethnic demographic all her own...a Honey American.
She doesn't need any sugar in her house; if she only dips a fingertip into her tea, it will be sweet. Hummingbirds wait patiently for her to take a dip in her pool and turn the water to nectar.
We are so lucky she's chosen to use her superpowers on the side of good...*g*
My thoughts exactly!
Imho, this is a blessing in disguise for Eastwood.
Is this like...the opposite of blacklisting?
Maybe Rick Santorum can take Beyonce’s place.
“Everything about Stacey Dash would make her an improvement over Beyonce...”
There you go. What a great idea.
