I made it through all but the last 10 minutes. I could not stand Biden. He stunk up the stage.
Joe Biden’s constant interruptions of Ryan caused me (and thousands of others, I’m sure) to shout “Shut the f#@% up, Biden” at least once during the debate. I mean, his chuckling and giggling was bad enough, but the fact that he could interrupt Ryan at will, without any response from the liberal moderator, got under my skin quickly.
There’s a reason I’m not in politics - I would have jumped up from my chair and punched Joe’s lights out after about the third interruption just on general principal. Apparently, fisticuffs isn’t considered an acceptable means of disciplining an unruly opponent in a debate.
They did not build him. Satan did.
I LOL'd at this statement, becasue I must have said this five times last night.
My BP has been very good lately, but I could feel it spike every time the Delaware Dumbass opened his fat mouth.
A heartbeat away. Just wow.
At the end of the debate, when he spent five seconds whining that Paul Ryan got forty seconds and he was getting ten, I cracked up. He is the Ted Baxter of the dem party. Embrace him, you losers.
And shame on the moderator for allowing Baxter to rudely interrupt so many times- and shame on Baxter to ignore Paul Ryan’s asking for him to let him finish.
We started on the radio, and I am a numbers geek, so I was really enjoying Ryan’s discussion on how to save Medicare/Medicaid, and noticed that when he started to hit the points, Biden would lose it.
Which resulted in my son screaming at Biden through the radio. All hope was lost then. He wanted Ryan to bitch-slap him; young men, sigh.
Watched the Fox focus group. One thing did come out, the women did like Ryan. One woman called him debonaire. All found him prepared on the topics, knew his stuff. But, terribly biased focus group, if they were for O/B to begin with, they started talking about how weak Ryan was. (made me think they were plants.)
Biden brags that he was raised in a blue collar environment but, obviously, his parents did him a dis-service when it comes to teaching etiquette. People I know living in that environment would give a kid the back of their hand if a kid behaved so rudely in a conversation with another person.
Our home was technically at poverty level, and I’d have been sent into the middle of next week if I’d interrupted another person or rolled my eyes even once. Eighty-plus times, Joe? C’mon! Go back to your rubber room.

I didn’t watch ANY of it, other than what I couldn’t miss during 11PM news - and FF most of it.

From what I am reading and hearing, one must wonder how joebama would have come across had he NOT taken a week off to prepare????
From the day he was named VP, I began saying he (joebama) was BO’s ‘insurance policy’ as no one is or would be dumb enough to harm a hair on BO’s chinny-chin-chin as long as one knew joebama was a heartbeat away from the pResidency.
I have also maintained all along that BO is actually Michelle and vice versa, as they figured some one as big and intimidating as Michelle(BO) would freak people out.
For people who didn't watch it, it gives the impression the disrespect was both ways.
I probably should apologize to the memory of ‘Ted Knight’ because at least ‘Ted Knight’ had some humanity and in the end, was likeable.
No....the Ted Knight analogy is PERFECT! Obama is Eddie Haskell, with that cheese eating grin.
That comment made me wonder if Biden ALSO skipped his intelligence briefings.
Just the top two issues of many I have with the behaviors of last night.
1. It is frightening how the measure of mental or spiritual maturity too often has no correlation to chronological age.
2. On the opinion of abortion, if once outside the doors of your church you espouse an opposing set of values to when inside, who then is the real soul I am seeing.

Yes, I moved over to my computer and tried to log on to FR and couldn't get in. So, I had to go back to full attention on the TV and continued to watch the debacle. I really wanted to punch Biden in the mouth.

As a grandaddy, I wondered throughout the debacle if Biden was astounded that his opponent was three or so when he first took office, if his many hard won battles were for naught if he lost to a neophyte kid, if he was relevant or a relic?
Biden displayed the characteristics of a criminal. His capacity to lie, lie, lie is blatantly criminal.
