Snap polls: Ryan 2, Biden 1 7

Comments (34) By BYRON TAU | 10/11/12 11:27 PM EDT Two snap polls show Paul Ryan as the winner of the vice presidential debate, while a single poll shows Vice President Biden eking out a victory.

CNN's snap poll finds that 48 percent of viewers think that Ryan won the debate, while 44 percent believe Biden won.

A CNBC snap poll shows a similar result, with 53 percent of respondents identifying Ryan as the winner. By contrast, 41 percent thought that Biden won, while 6 percent believed that neither won.

A CBS News snap poll showed a different result, however. Surveying undecided voters, 50 percent believed Biden won the debate, while 31 percent said that Ryan won. Nineteen percent said it was a tie.

No, what it shows is that there are very few undecided voters and that Romney is up by 5.

CNBC and CNN were of all voters, CBS was of undecided.

Ryan got killed among undecideds but apparently won among all voters. That means, not many undecided voters but Romney ahead among decided voters.

Ryan looked like a intern to me. I was not impress with his Eddie Haskell whine. But I will call it a tie because of Biden condescending attitude.

Mitt is much more polished and Presidential.

The CBS poll was an online poll; The CNBC was twitter poll, and the CNN/AP polls were polls of RV.

It’s really extraordinary how the poll numbers, as we get closer to the election, are beginning to reflect the what the final results are going to be..

More and more of the independent polling groups are trying to maintain some credibility, after being in the tank for the liberal establishment, and are now dialing back on the obvious bias now that they know that this contest is irreversible.. They can’t hide it much longer without permanently damaging what little legacy they can salvage..

You don’t survive and excel for decades in the Boardroom unless you are a commanding leader. Congressmen (House and Senate) simply do not have those qualities.

Those online polls are a joke, as we all know.. DU, DB, and Kos, etc, were all pushing CBS and others to do what they could to pound those polls early and often, even linking ways to vote multiple times..

According to a CNN poll 60% of the people believe Ryan was “presidental” on 53% for the crazy uncle.

Throw out the two online polls they are a completely crap and are nothing but people hitting the polls voting over and over again with no control. They even have websites that refresh for you on those online polls to keep voting for you. They’re garbage but of course Politico needed one to give to Biden and had the use the CBS one.

The only one that was a real poll was the CNN/AP one even though it had a MOE of 5%

Just to prove CNN bias, I saw Sandra Endo, one of CNN’s reporters, today on a Miami station.

Unbelievably, Sandra Endo chose to ignore her own network’s poll that showed a Ryan win, 48-44 over Biden. Instead, Endo reported that “analysts” said the debate was “draw”.

Got bias?

Good point. Ryan and Biden talked like a career politician. Both were unimpressive and boring.

IF you had a choice of Obama, Biden, Romney or Ryan over for dinner Romney would be the most interesting, and the most enjoyable company.

Romney SHINES above them all.

It wouldn't have hurt Ryan to say “Facts are stubborn things Joe” in response to one of Bidens lies.
