I will be in the unique position of defending some of the coverage by the drive-by's today: Even freaking NPR was talking about how obnoxious Crazy Joe came off last night. Politico is actually comparing him to Algore and running a by-line asking "Is Joe Biden a Buffoon?"

I don't think this is the buzz the Obama campaign was hoping for.

but there are women who wanted to be on the “I voted for the first black president” bandwagon in 2008

Then they weren't that intelligent were they? :-(

This is fantastic. Obutthole will be told about this and believe that being an assclown bully without any substance is the correct way to go after Romney.

The next prez debate will be so ugly for Obutthole that it will be a thing of beauty for us.

My prediction:

Obutthole will do so badly in the second debate that there will be a “national crisis” created to keep him from having to do the third.

funny- i forced myself to watch CNN after the debate and they all said the following:

1) on substance the debate was a tie...

2) Biden was childish and his rolling eyes, interruptions and rude behavior won’t go over well...Gergen slammed biden for his antics and the woman host, no clue to her name, said Ryan came off as much more Presidential..

3) the time i was watching CNN i watched the dials of the undecided voters...they were positive more time than not when Ryan spoke and for the most part flatlined when biden spoke...

I am suspect of people who claim they are”undecided”.

There have been several 2008 0 bummer voters who said bite me's behavior changed their mind to R/R. Most called him obnoxious and arrogant.

Ryan's point was muted and not heard.

With the use of tactics that backfired.

The hideous toothy grimace, the braying cackle, the obnoxious interruptions, grunts and snickers provide a comical image of Biden that exceeds all previous Biden PR failures.

Biden the Cackling Clown now stands side by side with Obama the Empty Chair. It will be impossible for him to escape this caricature he's made of himself.

You could be right. I'm just reporting what Luntz' focus group thought. undecided voters in Ohio - liked Biden overall He Did What Obama Wasn’t Able To Do’: Undecided Voters React to Biden’s VP Debate Performance

vs. what they thought about Ryan ‘He Seemed Like a Rookie’: Undecided Voters React to Paul Ryan’s VP Debate Performance

The base needs to be really committed to getting out the vote for Romney....most of the undecided voters Luntz had were idiots.

Yep. I kept waiting for Ryan to say in a respectful tone of voice:”Please Mr. Vice President, let me finish.”

Ryan at one point did exactly that... I don't have time to find it for you right now but it was during the last half.

Just like the Democrats you keep forgetting about all of the females who were not 18 in 2008, but who have since earned the right to vote.

Obama detests Romney .... doesn’t even think he should be debating him. Add to that issue .... he hates debate prep and has to be forced to do it. Axelrat had to get involved to make sure he gets his debate prep done .... sort of like being a kid & mom says ‘wait until your dad gets home and I tell him what you’ve done’ ... Axelrat is ‘dad’.

None of this is good for “The Won” who is so impressed with his own ‘Obamaness’ that all he thinks he has to do is show up and his brilliance and messianic power will have everyone falling on their knees. Victor Davis Hanson did a good piece a couple of days ago ... he had looked at Obama’s previous ‘debate’ experiences, such as they were, and that WAS the real Obama who did(not) show up for the debate the other night.

Romney and Ryan have done well because they are being themselves and authentic. Obama was himself and flubbed badly - when he tries to be someone else in the next debate, it should be pretty awful. Biden tried to be someone else (even above and beyond his usual idiotic personna) and it’s not playing well in Peoria. Ryan ‘won’ last night on style - he looked like a smart, reasonable, serious man, the one adult in the room, even if a bit young. A lot of folks are looking at Biden and thinking about that ‘one heartbeat away from the Presidency’, smarmy old gutter politician & politics as usual, and not liking the picture they see.
