Here’s hoping we’ll soon have a new administration to clean up some of this crapola in the military. And even if they don’t go back to don’t ask don’t tell, they should at least have strict rules against homosexual fraternization on duty or on the base. Serving homosexuals should take a vow of celibacy while on duty or on the base so as to reduce disruption. The same for fraternization between male and female soldiers.
I got a private reply from someone wondering if there is any kind of segregation in showers and latrines since open homosexuality is no normal. She said it seems that would be like having communal showers for men and women - just make everything unisex. Active duty for me ended in 1968, so I have no idea what’s going on now.
