White House throws Hillary under the 2012 bus

The White House is throwing Hillary Clinton under the 2012 election bus.
Top officials have already claimed the nation’s intelligence agencies did not alert the White House to the growing danger facing the State Department’s facility in Benghazi, Libya, which was destroyed Sept. 11 by a jihadi attack on the 11th anniversary of the atrocities in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.
The claim was repeated Oct. 11 by Vice President Joe Biden during the vice presidential debate in Danville, Ky. “We weren’t told they wanted more security,” he announced.
Ben Rhodes, President Barack Obama’s deputy national security adviser for communications, extended the claim Oct. 11 by telling told Foreign Policy magazine that neither Biden nor President Barack Obama knew of the growing danger.
“Biden speaks only for himself and the president and neither of them knew about the requests at the time,” Rhodes said, according to Foreign policy.
“These kinds of issues are handling in the State Department by security officials,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said during Friday’s press briefing.
Security matters “are decided at the State Department,” he said, amid tough questioning from Fox News Channel’s Ed Henry.
The White House’s statements leaves Hillary Clinton on the hook, because she runs the Department of State.
The widening breach between Clinton and the team of Obama and Biden comes as the president is being outpolled by Gov. Mitt Romney.

Look for the very pissed of Dems (pissed off at o’bidens) to form a third party after the election. Otherwise, they will lose it all forever in the mid-terms.
Biden is claiming ignorance as an excuse -- as if that exonerates him and Obama! Amazing. Even if Obama and Biden didn't know (which may be doubted) that would just show their malfeasance. For example, Obama skipped more than half his intelligence briefings.
And what is their excuse for continuing to blame a film after they did know that is was a terrorist attack?

Could be interesting watching this play out. The Chicago Thug Machine vs. The Clinton Mafia.
It effectively undercuts Hillary, who they despise.
If that happens, all Hillary needs to do is leak lots of information that it was her that gave the go-ahead to kill Osama Bin-Laden, despite repeated requests to Obama that went unanswered. That Obama had repeated opportunity to get Osama and he nixed every request. This would be devastating to half of Obama's legacy (the other half being the rescue of G.M. which is not turning out so well).
Hillary’s been acting like she don’t give a chit about anything for a while now. I suspect she’s got a new love interest or something. I hate to defend Obama but if she was responsible for turning down requests for added security then the buck might stop with Obama but Hillary is still at fault. Anyway, the whole thing should eventually come out, after the election of course.

Hoping Bill Clinton says enough is enough and WALKS AWAY from helping “the One”...............I mean, Hillary stood by Bill in his time of need, He needs to step up to the plate and be honorable to his wife.............just my two cents

I believe they BOTH knew what was going on and were involved in planning it and never intended to be busted.
Thus, I don’t think it is throwing Hilary under the bus.
Further, if Hilary is so innocent and really gave a damn about this country or running for prez in 2016 she would’ve resigned early on in this thing. She had to have seen from day 1 that this thing (dare I say “mission”?) was going south fast. Yet she kept on lying.
I don't know if they exactly planned it, but they apparently knew about it ahead of time and went with it, assuring that security would be woefully insufficient. I think the motive can be found in Biden's remark in the debate that (I don't recall the exact words) it "used to be" that everyone would unite (behind the administration) after an incident like this. I.e., all rally round Obama in this crisis less than a month before the election!
You’re probably right about their motivation. However, the “rally around the president” phenomenon only works when the people don’t blame the president for creating the situation in the first place. Even if the administration had been successful in covering up the fact that this was an act of terrorism, enough people disagreed with his “Arab Spring” policies that I don’t think the administration would have gotten away with it. The first thing I thought when I heard our ambassador had been killed was that it was Obama’s fault for helping to install the Muslim Brotherhood into power in Egypt and Libya.
I only hope they're not scrambling to come up with a Plan B!
