My dogs love to snuggle up next to us. If I take a nap, the youngest likes to lie under the throw with me. Today I kept the temp at 62 degrees, so that was welcome.

Our 2 old kitties get under the blankets to sleep. It’s nice when pets are snugglers. :-)

I love dogs. We have old cats (17 and 14) right now so no doggies.

It is. :) Two of our three dogs sleep with us. The oldest is too big at 120 pounds. He’s also past the age when he can get on and off the bed. It’s rather high. I taught Joey how to climb up and down on the bench at the foot of the bed when he was little. I was afraid that he would kill himself if he jumped off at that height onto the floor.

Cats and dogs are wonderful. I can’t imagine not having at least one pet in my life.

Texas
***
"Known for their generosity, hospitality, unusual accent, and penchant for the larger-than-life, Texans are wonderful people to meet, and the variety of cultural experiences, from feasting on bratwurst with the Germans of the Hill Country to watching Flamenco dancers with the Tejanos of the Rio Grande valley, is seemingly unlimited.”

It’s a very good solution for small pets. They can easily damage their backs, as well as their legs jumping off of furniture. Joey was so little when we first brought him home. Now he weighs 75 pounds.
