Ryan Wins VP Debate - Was Biden Drinking?
By Joel Leyden
Israel News Agency
New York, New York --- October 12, 2012 ... Last night's US Presidential debate appeared to be between a serious, sober and articulate Congressman Paul Ryan and an intoxicated, out of control Vice President Joe Biden.
According to CNBC Congressman Paul Ryan buried VP Joe Biden by 56 percent to 36 percent.
Why was the spread so wide?
Biden, who is normally a good guy and would have made a much better President than Obama, appeared to have been either given bad advice by a media coach to be overly aggressive or may have been drinking before the actual debate. If he wasn't drinking, then it may have been one Valium too many.
As Ryan tried to respond to questions asked by moderator Martha Raddatz, as on cue, Biden would either interrupt or laugh as Ryan began to answer. Biden's laughing, smirks, gasps and eye-rolls became so obnoxious that it continued as Ryan was discussing Iran's lethal attempt to build a nuclear bomb.
Biden interrupted Ryan over 62 times.
Obama and Biden have been accused of ignoring requests and of an apparent coverup for increased security for US embassies abroad which resulted in the murder of US Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other embassy staff. Yet during the VP debate Joe Biden tried unsuccessfully to deflect this issue by claiming that Ryan had voted to cut security for the embassy. That was a sad and distorting lie. Ryan had actually requested federal cuts across the board but never itemized or earmarked embassy security as a budget cut.
Ryan stated that Obama's proposal to let tax rates rise for high-income individuals would tax about 53 percent of small-business income.
Ryan also noted that 20 million people are projected to lose their health insurance if Obamacare goes through.
On the issue of women's rights, Ryan made it clear that he is pro life but would authorize abortions in the event of rape, incest or if the mother was in physical danger.
On social media, Ryan was a clear winner.
In addition to Twitters outrage with Joe Bidens laughter during the debate, Ryan, @PaulRyanVP, went from 382,789 followers prior to the debate to 393,255 followers after the debate. Biden, @JoeBiden, went from 195,990 followers prior to the debate to 205,834 followers after the debate.
The Facebook group Jews for Mitt Romney states that in contrast to Barack Obama and Joe Biden who cannot tell us where the capital of Israel is, wants Israel to return to indefensible 1967 borders and does not require red lines for Iran and it's building of a nuclear weapon, both Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have declared that they are on the same page with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
On Netanyahu's recent visit to the UN, Obama ignored the Israeli Prime Minister's request to meet and instead gave an interview on a TV talk show in New York.
"I think Biden raises serious questions about his ability to be a heartbeat away from the president," said Fox News contributor Dick Morris. "His inappropriate conduct is glaring and will backfire with the American people. He had no dignity or presidentiality."
I have watched the “debate” 3-4 xs and I think Biden has a medical problem. The habit of laughing, facial expressions, a touch of anger, and twisting his comments.
Could be early stage dementia.
No, he KNOWS we aren't idiots, but it isn't us he's addressing.
I believe you are right... it was intentional - and rehearsed. Joe Trippi works for FOX NEWS. Someone needs to ask him - he would know.
What I LOVED about the debate was that the camera behind Joe’s right side kept displaying his quite obvious BALD spot in the back that a front shot could not. They panned to it multiple times and made his “plugs” look even more ridiculous.
"Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience!"
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Was he singing “The Villages” song?
To be used effectively ridicule must be done on a constant but not aggressive basis. If you do what Biden did during the debates his attempt at ridicule made him look like a clown which he is.
If you want to look at effective ridicule, watch CBS and NBC and ABC. When reporting the news they will subtlety make comments that are moderate ridicule or facetious. In and of itself one day of this type of subtle ridicule has no effect. However, when this is used day after day after month after year it is deadly effective. If you look at what was done to Vice President Dan Quayle you can see how effective this is. Quayle made a few minor gaffs in office and on the campaign. They were minor and of no importance. Obama has made many more and not minor.
After 4 year of this low intensity constant ridicule of his minor gaffs the public perception of Quayle is that he is slow and stupid. He is not. He was a victim of classic character assassination using Saul Alinsky tactics.
Historically, a POTUS’ second term is worse than his first. If the trend holds, we’re in trouble.
I saw it as a mature, well-adjusted adult vs. an insane old fart. Sadly, per Cheney in an interview with Hannity, this is the “real Joe”. They said everyone dreaded it when Biden would attend a meeting because of the constant interruptions and brash behavior.
I can’t get out of my head the horror of that whack job, grinning, snorting, and smirking, sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office. Imagine Lincoln or Eisenhower acting that way. Even Reagan, possibly coming into Alzheimer’s, was respectful and grown-up.
Concur. I anticipated the ridicule on Biden’s part. The net result was that he appeared to require a medication adjustment. Apparently, exposure to Alinskyite tactics is providing the disinfectant sunlight to affect the occult infection. Kudos to all those who enlighten the public!
