Bolton: There’s no excuse for the White House to say that Obama and Biden didn’t know about Benghazi
Fox Via The Right Scoop ^ | October 12th, 2012 | The Right Scoop

Posted on 10/13/2012 5:48:04 AM PDT by GonzoII

John Bolton says that it doesn’t fly for the White House to say they didn’t know about the security needs of Benghazi. He says of course they won’t be involved in the nitty gritty of hundreds of security decisions around the world, but Benghazi he says is very different:

But in a high threat mission where you’ve had evidence of Al Qaeda attacks against other missions, where for goodness sakes the Red Cross has withdrawn from Benghazi – the Red Cross that lives in the environment of war thought it was too dangerous – that’s something that the President, Vice President, and certainly the Secretary of State should be aware of ALL THE TIME.

I agree, I think something is there.

It’s very frustrating when those in high places, more and more, are not held to the rule of law.

The warning lights are flashing, IMHO, for politicans and their cronies.

Lying means nothing according to our current prosecution of the law.

The Justice department is a joke at the top.

The WH is commies and cronies.

State Dept is being run by a communist if you check out her youth.

Everyone sees Bill’s smile and slickness discounts his immorality. Immorality does not matter it seems to many people. Many people discount the evil that is the Klintonistas. Nothing - nothing - would surprise me about Hellery.

The rest of the top Dems are of the same mold: immoral and communist. They just keep on a civilized face for the public.

When you get a chance listen to the Howie Carr/Hunt clip. Did we turn a blind eye...for SAMs and maybe a blind sheik?

Requests for added security denied, Benghazi police didn’t repond, nothing from our Command Centers watching in real-time ... WTH?

http://themittani.com/news/rip-vile-rat

9/11/12, Benghazi Information Management Officer, Sean Smith: (12:54:09 PM) vile_rat: assuming we don’t die tonight. We saw one of our ‘police’ that guard the compound taking pictures

New information:

http://en.europeonline-magazine.eu/senior-libyan-security-official-survives-assassination_243315.html

13.10.2012

Benghazi, Libya (dpa) - The police chief in Libya‘s eastern city of Benghazi on Saturday survived an assassination attempt, security sources said.

The car of Colonel Mohammed bin Haleem exploded when he remotely switched it on. The blast caused no injuries, the state-run news agency reported.

“The bomb was carefully placed inside the car,” it quoted an unnamed source as saying.

Would someone please remind the American public who it was who went golfing instead of attending his daily security / intelligence briefings?

You’re right, this would be a fantastic commercial & image to put into the voters minds. The narrator could just read the captions....and close with Mitt - I endorse this message.

Wow, that is pathetic. What doesn’t make sense is how Stevens was obviously terrified for his security but still proceeded with a medical center, which would be totally unappreciated, in a region overtaken by terrorists.

Nothing smells right about all of this.

The people in charge of our country have no clue it is all about the religion, it has nothing to do with poverty or anything else.

Neither one of them know sh!t and neither wants to. They have “big picture” plans and don’t give a Rat’s ass about a few “bumps in the road”.

Some new info ( for me anyway) especially reference to CIA memo
“...A concurrent CIA memo obtained by The Associated Press cited intelligence suggesting the demonstrations in Benghazi ‘were spontaneously inspired by the protests at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo’ and ‘evolved into a direct assault’ on the diplomatic posts by ‘extremists’....”

Do you know if a transcript it out on his interview? How long is the interview? I have no bandwidth to hear it.

Here’s the AP story. (AP covering for Rice??)

http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/national_world&id=8841366

Looks like the same memo as reported a few weeks ago.

http://seattletimes.com/text/2019181582.html

A CIA memo sent to U.S. lawmakers this weekend, and obtained by The Associated Press, says current intelligence still suggests the demonstrations in Benghazi “were spontaneously inspired by the protests at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo” and “evolved into a direct assault” on the diplomatic posts by “extremists.”

Interesting... there will be a few more convenient killings before this is over... even on the U.S. side. If this thing is as big as it appears to be, they’ll have nothing to lose by offing a few in the know and sending a message to others to keep quiet.
