sound bite at link..
President Obama told a Miami radio host yesterday that he never thought, during last weeks presidential debate, that Mitt Romney got the better of him.
Thats not actually how I thought about it, Obama said on the Michael YO! Show when asked if there was a moment when he knew he was losing last week. I do think that on television it was clear that I was being too restrained when Mr. Romney was telling his tall tales. But the truth is, when you read the transcript, everything I said was true and a lot of what he said was not.
Obama did concede that he had an off-night and explained that he was too polite to bring up Romneys 47 percent remarks.
It is a useful reminder, though, that the news medias attention span is fairly short, he said of the fact that the 47 percent comments didnt come up in the debate.
Obama also talked about his earliest experience in the private sector. My first job was at Baskin Robbins and it paid minimum wage, he said. I dont know what minimum wage was back then it was probably three bucks an hour.
The show began with Obama weighing in on the Mariah Carey-Nicki Minaj feud on American Idol, saying that between the two, he prefers Mariah Carey. Mariah shes actually done some events for us, Obama said. Nicki, I dont know, but Ive got her on my iPod.
No word on whether his iPod contains the song in which Minaj says Im a Republican voting for Mitt Romney.

This is great news for Romney.
The Liar in Chief actually thinks he bested Mitt in the first debate. What a hoot.
I wonder how the POTUS will act on Tuesday evening. Upbeat, arrogant, angry? Stay tuned.
I have a single response, you purple lipped prince...CONTENT OF CHARACTER matters...you have none....so no matter.
He will out Biden, Biden is my guess.
I’m SURE Nixon would have said something similar back in 1960, but debates involve more than just words alone. Those debates predate me by 15 years, so I can’t pretend to know exactly what happened.
0bama with his universe sized ego has a slight problem admitting defeat or rejection. I would just love to see him lose for that reason alone, if nothing else!
after all that’s happened in the last week, it’s amazing that Obummer still just cannot handle that HE LOST BIGTIME AND LOOKED LIKE A WORLD CLASS AHOLE In front of 70,000,000 people! Terrorism, Schmerrorism! He just won’t get off this til he can convince everyone that what they saw didn’t happen. Hahahaha!
Ooh it’s impossible to relate how much I want him to get his butt handed to him yet again on Tuesday night!
GO ROMNEY!
Make a good campaign Ad. Obama...wrong on policy the past four years, wrong on who won the last debate.
The Boxer (Simon & Garfunkel)
In the clearing stands a boxer, and a fighter by his trade
And he carries the reminders of every glove that laid him down or cut him
'Til he cried out in his anger and his shame
I am leaving, I am leaving, but the fighter still remains.
WTH????? what is this asshat doing talking to some radio host about Mariah Carey? He and his State Dept have pretty much been caught as complicit in the murder of 4 Americans!
ummm sure they will!
You Go Obambi- ya did just great!
Relax and take it easy until the next one- you got him on the run
Ums and Uhs are redacted from most transcripts.
I dont think that is what happened in 1960. In 1960 about half the public listened to the debate on the radio and the other half watched in on T.V. The half who watched it on T.V. said J.F.K. won. Nixon was riddled with the Flu, looked unshaven, and rumors have it that RFK made sure he was directly under lights to make him look unflattering. However, on the radio people said Nixon won. I am not sure if Nixon went around and continue to believe he won the debate or not. It was basically how you received the debate.
This isnt the case here, if we listened to the debate between Romney and obama on the radio, obama still would be the clear loser. Hands down.
Ya I know...my bad.
You know what they’d do to him in boot camp if he was to say “I” dont you?
