Romney wins in a landslide -- Las Vegas oddsmaker doubles down on prediction
Fox News ^ | October 09, 2012 | Wayne Allyn Root

Yes, you read that headline correctly. I am a Las Vegas oddsmaker (and former Libertarian vice presidential candidate) and here's why I am so boldly predicting a Romney landslide.

In November of 2004, only days before the presidential election, I went on CNBC and predicted a Bush victory by 3 points and 30 electoral votes. Every poll at the time showed Kerry in the lead. Bush won by 3 and 35. Newsmax magazine called it the most accurate prediction of 2004.

In October of 2006, I went on Fox News to predict the GOP would get slaughtered in the midterm election and lose Congress. They did.

In December 2011, before the GOP primary, I predicted Mitt Romney would win the GOP presidential nomination and go on to win the presidency. For the next few months, Romney trailed by a wide margin to a range of contenders -- Donald Trump, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum.

It seemed no one wanted Mitt for president. It seemed no one believed in Mitt. No one, that is, except this Las Vegas oddsmaker and capitalist evangelist.

We so pray he’s right.

I want the Marxist, his evil party and regime humiliated in a landslide defeat.

Ditto for his evil lapdog media. I want to gloat and watch them report Romney/Ryan’s victory.

Lord, hear our prayers.

I want an opinion of an oddsmaker who's only in it for the money. Like your barber or bartender.

They’ll never call it a landslide.

Yes, but the author didn’t count on Obama’s SECRET SURPRISE.

The Obama campaign wanted to use Bruce Springteens music. He finally said OK, but refused to do any personal appearances.

Now, with Obama trailing, I guess the bigwigs in Hollywood leaned on Springsteen or offered him more money because he has now agreed to PERFORM at a BENEFIT (DNC benefit) Concert in OHIO, and another state.

Root does a lot of bragging here, going back to 2004. But he skips over 2008 and 2010 without a mention.

Those were important elections, and they relate to the article, and both were relatively easy elections to predict.
No mention of either.

That makes me suspicious. He’s cherry picking.

WEll in 2008 he was VP nominee for the Libertarian Party so I think he probably wasn’t doing any predicting or polling.

And in 2010 it seems as though he was yet again active in the LP leadership.

Hard to ‘have a record’ when you didn’t participate don’t you think

Yup . . . this from the same guy who graduated in the same class as Abomination from Columbia University in 1983 as a Political Science major and does not have any recollection of having met or seen Obama at Columbia.

How can that be?

thinkin someone is a fraud.

That photo of Elian Gonzalez at gunpoint with big bird’s head replacing Elian’s would be a good counter to this photo.
