“Despite pundits and pollsters dismissing Romney’s chances in the state in late September, the Republican is now either tied or just barely trailing Obama in Ohio ahead of the next presidential debate on Tuesday night.”

.

Interesting they don’t mention Romney ahead in OH in a few other polls. Just slightly behind or tied. gmafb

I have a funny feeling Obama’s handlers will try to coach him to be more lively & engaging but it will probably backfire as it did for Biden for certain.

I believe the headline is out of date. Romney closed the gap some time ago. Now he is opening up a new one.

UnSkewed Polling Data Sunday, October 14, 2012 10:25:49 AM. Romney +3.8

That Romney +3.8, is the average of 11 Polls and has Skewed Avg of +3.2 for Obama yet Romney is still leading. Remove the skew and Barry's really screwed.

These pollsters still include a Dem over sampling based on the huge 2008 turnout for Obama and that just ain't gonna happen again. Obama only has a lock on Nine States and DC vs Thirteen States solid for Romney and toss-up states are breaking for Romney.

Go to Real Clear Politics and make your own EC map. I did and I can see Romney getting 301 EC votes without much trouble - but natch, no major screw-ups.
