The $16 trillion federal debt, the long-struggling economy and persistent high unemployment drive the Tribunes presidential endorsement for Mitt Romney.
America needs a president who will free the economy a job maker.
The presidency has become an issue of leadership. President Barack Obama has lost the confidence and respect of most of the nations business and industry leaders. His administration has created an environment of policy and regulatory uncertainty that has restrained job creation. It has left too many Americans out of work for too long. It has put families and retired citizens at increased financial risk.
Romney would remove the uncertainty that restrains the businesses from expanding and creating jobs. He would work to reduce unnecessary federal regulation, cooling off the zeal of federal agencies bent on replacing state authority with their own.
Mitt Romney can restore fiscal order to our families, to main street and to the nation, with less government and a certain course. He can bring America back together again.

And the nation needs the Quisling and his kohorts put away.
No, the nation needs someone like Newt Gingrich in the W.H. But we have what we have and it’s our only choice.
If we let Zer0 back in the W.H. this country is over. OVER.
This is a great editorial. It makes a very low key, but compelling case why Romney is a better choice than the Kenyan clown. It does it in a gentle way that won’t turn off former Obama voters who may now be on the fence. This would be a good link to post to FaceBook or to share with friends who are not already convinced.
I’m hoping that Newt will be a part of the Romney administration, in some capacity.............Wonder what the chances of that happening are-———
“Wondering what the chances of that happening are”
-——well, not that the two are comparable, but consider
that in the 2008 campaign, what transpired between Camp Obama and Camp Hillary were not enough to keep her from becoming
Secretary of State, I think it’s not a longshot that Newt will get some kind of position. I’d like to see that.
As much as I detest what the Republican party has become, there is no other party on this earth that can come anywhere close to accomplishing what must be accomplished to keep America from spiraling down a Marxist/communist toilet... All Republicans, independents, grassroots conservatives, tea party members, moderates, Reagan democrats, Christians, Jews, life, family, liberty, decency-loving patriots of any stripe must work like the blazes for the next couple of months and then turnout on election day and drag their friends, relatives and co-workers to the polls to vote that communist bastard and as many godless, liberty-hating, capitalism-hating, God-hating, liberal progressive, corrupt Marxist communists bastards the hell OUT as is humanly possible!!
I think a lot of people who SAY they are undecided are actually DECIDED.
America certainly does not need Romney, and most assuredly can not afford Obama....
I remain puzzled on the rush to put someone like Romney in, and expect anything different RNC=DNC=DNC=RNC I've been voting since Carter and as the years fade I see no difference, no matter which candidate is foisted upon us..... WE KEEP GETTING SCREWED, by either party
We pick the same losers every time, and are surprised by the same old sh!t....
President Romney is the best they can do, YOU HAVE GOT TO BE SH!TTING ME.
They don't want change, they want us to be the same old stupid a$$ voters just like the last 25 years.
Talk about stuck on stupid....
How about we dump (en-mass) every treasonous member in Washington and start over.
I know of 545 oxygen thieves who need to have their assets seized (to pay the debt they incurred) at our expense, then roll back all these BS laws that take away our rights.
Then we can go after the bankers.... MF Global sound familiar?
