Obama camp tips hand on debate, hints president will attack Romney on Bain
Fox News ^

As President Obama began to hunker down at a plush resort here for three full days of debate prep, his campaign team signaled the incumbent may steal a page from Vice President Joe Biden and show a more aggressive tone in Tuesday's second face-to-face showdown with Republican Mitt Romney. "Gov. Romney has been making pitches all of his life and he knows how to say what people want to hear whether that was during his time at Bain or during the dozens of town halls he did during the primary," said Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Saturday.

Seriously, these people see the world much differently than we do.
Carney’s view of the VP debate is amazing to me.

Don’t think very many people really care about Bain. Just brush it off and stick him.

“Obama camp tips hand on debate, hints president will attack Romney on Bain”

In other words, they will once again hardly touch the subject. It’s just meant to be a distraction to disrupt Romney’s preparation.

Romney will do very well IF Candy Crowley lets him talk. Obozo will interrupt Romney all the time and Crowley will let him do it. They will tag-team Romney just like Radditz and Biteme did to Ryan. I missed the first hour of the VP debate but listened to the last half hour on the radio. I was shocked at the laughing, the interrupting (by both Biteme and Radditz), and the way Radditz challenged Ryan on his points but never challenged Biteme. Romney is a good debater. I hope he is able to get his points across and be given the time to refute Obozo’s lies. PS-I hope Crowley is more concerned about appearing unbiased than Radditz was.

This is a town-hall Q & A debate. Audience member asks a question, each candidate has 2 minutes to answer with no interruptions from other candidate. If Obama spends all his time talking about Bain instead of answering questions, better for Romney.

Why the hell does Barry have to be at a “plush resort” to prepare for the debate? The White House isn’t plush enough for his taste?

lol I know, right?

And in a townhall style debate I don’t think it will play well.

Agree. Lucky Romney is a Boy Scout. I wonder what they will put forth next about his history. Could it be as bad as participating on a high school hazing? Maybe Romney can find a way to bring up the Born Alive Infant Protection Act that Obama voted against 3 times when he was an Illinois State Senator. Now THAT is unconscionable!

The attacks on Bain are so easily refuted it’s not even funny.

“Yes, I had to make a tough decision to let go of some people. It’s not something I take lightly. I did it so that the rest of the company - the rest of the employees - would still have jobs in the morning. It’s a difficult thing to make those calls but the companies Bain took over were failing. We invested our own money to try and save them. In the end, I believe it was better for Bain to make those investments which resulted in a majority of people to keeping their jobs than for Bain to have remained uninvolved and watch everyone to lose them.”

MI’m paranoid. I think it’s red herring.

It doesn't matter. I'm sure Romney is prepared for anything that is thrown at him by this dunce in the Whitehouse.

I think Romney should take any mention of his time at Bain and use it to explain how his true expertise is in FIXING THINGS. He can back that up with the Olympics and anything from his time in Mass. that fits in.

That’s how I would frame it, anyway.

And he seems to have a sharp mind for facts & figures, so I’m sure he could reel off example after example.

And if anyone should raise off-shore bank accounts and/or tax returns I hope he will not hesitate to point out things like: Harry Reid has NEVER released his tax returns, Nancy Pelosi banks in the Caymans, etc. I don’t know what of these might apply to Obama, but there’s always the sealed college records - which I’ve always thought was just stupid, stupid enough to look suspicious.

All Romney has to do is turn to the camera after Øbama has attacked him on Bain and say...”Folks, this is exactly why America’s economy is failing because we have a President who constantly attacks successful businesses in the name of some failed political ideology.”
