Posted on 10/14/2012 3:16:11 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet
MSNBCs Chris Hayes reported Sunday that Arthur Allen, the founder, president, and CEO of ASG Software Solutions, recently emailed his employees asking them to vote for Mitt Romney for the sake of the company and their jobs. The subject line for the September 30 email was, Will the US Presidential election directly impact your future jobs at ASG? Please read below.
Just last week, founder and CEO of Westgate Resorts David Siegel made a similar move, telling employees hed have no choice but to reduce the size of the company if Obama wins.
Allens letter read, according to MSNBC:
We have a chance, as individuals, to help turn the sick US economy into a healthy economy, and positively influence the global economy as well. This chance comes on November 6th, when we elect a new President and administration. The US and the world need to elect individuals who have business experience. Neither the world nor the US can stand to elect politicians any longer. In my view, and in the view of most business leaders, if you give politicians 100 questions, they will give you back 100 wrong answers simply because they have no basis for making those decisions. Would you hire a person with no experience to do brain surgery? Of course not, but thats what the US voters did in 2009. Why does the world keep hiring politicians to run our global economies when they have no experience? It just makes no sense, and yet the world keeps doing it over and over again. Lets take the lead on November 6th and show the world how it should and can be done.
The CEO then explained what the re-election of President Obama would mean for the company and the jobs of everyone who works there:(continued)

There are a lot more out there who think this way. They just aren’t saying anything right now.
Looks like the avalanche is starting, though, doesn’t it?
Yeah. Expect more and more of this every day between now and the election. The Era of Food Stamps, unemployment extensions and ObamaPhones is over. America is broke. It’s time for people to get serious and realize that America is in big trouble right now.
On a related note the CEO of Acme Teleprompter Sales is encouraging his employees to re-elect the President
God bless this guy. He’s honest and gives employees ample warning, in the midst of great personal and business retaliation from the IRS and every other agency that the Obama goons will sic on him.
Most of our CEOs are cowards and hypocrites, particularly in the Fortune 500. It is their worst, and possibly final, betrayal of the free enterprise system.
Union bosses do this ALL THE TIME. IMO, it’s fair play, I salute them!
You got that right. I’m with you.
America will get the government it votes for....
God help us
:-) Hopefully...this strategy will become widespread w/ conservative bosses.
Be prepared for a lot of full time employees changed to part Time next year.
Yet another related note, CEO of Acme signs (specializing in “Going Out of Business”) stands by his endorsement of Obama.
ASG has been outsourcing jobs to India so I imagine a lot of the jobs are history no matter who wins.
I agree with him as well.
I think it’s funny to hear this from the software commies. Turns out liberalism is not Utopia?
I hope it’s an avalanche with coattails.
Some CEOs will come out and state what they know they will have to do before the election, most will be forced to do the same layoffs but will not open their mouths because they’ll be tagged as racists.
A lot of companies will suddenly become thousands of companies with under 50 employees, all part-time.
Thanks Obamacare. What'd you think everyone was just going to take it and pay? 2-dimensional thinkers are so predictable when they are shocked and outraged.
Those signs are gone now... doggone it!
Absolutely! And sane & rational person will vote for Repubs or Conservatives. However keep in mind that socialism & liberalism & demoRATs are mentally insane & deranged & clearly have a mental blockage & disorder vs a normal sane individual. Even highly educated or professional liberals are mentally insane & incompetent. Their marxist socialist facist ideology is their true religion, and they will ALWAYS vote for demoRATs no matter how scandalous or incompetent the demoRAT is ..... like 0dumb0!
Well, it will hurt a whole bunch more if the Commie gets reelected, even if the House and Senate are run by Republicans.
Obama, or as I like to think of him, Lord Obama King of the Executive Order, will be on a nothing to lose mission from Allah until January 2017.
‘2012 Obama vs America’
Thought for a long time that when the opponent’s name is used - even in the most clever saying - too many people see only that name, and think you’re supporting him!
Especially when the opponents logo is used against him.
Folks may have 3 seconds to see a sign, and the eye will go to the name only, or to the logo.
Totally missing the clever, negative saying.
As for Obumpo, I know this year is huge on pointing out this dangerous catastrophe in our White House.
The exemption would be the words like ‘Moron,’ and Fool, with that dumb logo for the ‘o’s.’
Give those a ‘go.’
Generally tho, I avoid those kinds of signs, buttons, or bumper stickers.
Just last week our 13 year old granddaughter turned down a clever pin (2012 written with the ‘empty chair’ as the ‘1,’ and BHO’s logo as the ‘0,’ because she said she won’t wear that logo. . .
Put forth heavily your guy or gals name instead.
Sorry - businesses are NOT created just so people can have jobs.”””
That needs to be taught in school from 4th grade up thru PHD degrees!!
LMAO! Now all we need is for one of the highly-talented Freepers to create an appropriate graphic for that!
