Since September 12, the Obama administration has been asking us to believe him, his press secretary, and his proxies that our Libyan ambassador and three other consulate officials were killed by a spontaneous mob driven into frenzy by an anti-Muslim film produced by an unknown Christian film maker. He asks that we not believe his state department or top intelligence officials who testify that this narrative is false. Nor should we notice the coincidence of the attack taking place on 9/11 or that this was revenge for the fifteen top al Qaeda leaders killed by drones under Obama. Of course, Obama spiking the “I-killed-Osama” football at the Democrat convention had nothing to do with this either. Nor did the Libyan President warn of impending violence three days earlier.

The story had me fooled for several days. I can remember thinking the Muslims must keep up with stuff like the supposed anti-Muslim film a lot closer than would seem normal.
As it turned out they probably had never heard of it either.

The truth is that Obama wants a weakened United States with no influence or power in the Arab world...or any other country for that matter. Everything else is irrelevant to him when it comes to foreign policy.

The deal with the single unarmed Libyan being what they called security stinks to high heaven.
There have already been several reports of the administration keeping serious security away from that office.

Then the White House in whatever way will help him most will negotiate and get the hostages free.
The press then goes wild with stories of how Obama got them out with no bloodshed by clever negotiations or maybe by adroit threats, whatever sounds best for the “One”.
Obama goes up by 10 points just before the election. The two american former military men who came in fighting messed the whole thing up for Obama.
Why would the Obama administration run the risk of having the Ambassador captured? Too many things could go wrong. They were trying to get the missiles back that they lost and it blew up in their faces. You start buying Libyans to kidnap the Ambassador, and you’re going into the realm of not just losing your job but of going to prison. And the more people, especially Libyans, involved in this, the greater chance of leaks. Nope, they weren’t going to kidnap their own Ambassador.

There were four versions of Nakoula's movie.
Only the final one was forwarded, by persons unknown, to Sheikh Khalid Abdullah the cleric in Cairo who aired it on TV. Nakoula, the maker of the original film, was not the one who uploaded the final version, Innocence of Muslims, to the internet.
You can hear some interesting things about the timeline of all these iterations of "the movie" in the Youtube video linked below. Start at 9:30 and watch to 16:00 for the meat of that.
That much is a near certainty at this point. Personally my hunch about the raid on the Benghazi consulate is that the jihadis were after the intel there which covers a lot jihadi activity from stolen MANPADS to who was infiltrating them. Killing some Americans and driving them out of eastern Libya is almost gravy compared to grabbing that.
Obama was well aware of the attack as it unfolded, it was the middle of the afternoon in Washington DC.
Certainly, he had people telling him in real time this is a terrorist attack on a US Consulate, an act of war, what do you want us to do Mr. President?!?!
Obama wanted to defuse this entire situation, calling it a spontaneous protest diminished the sovereignty issue. Cause every leftist knows protestors are cool, right? (Certainly he hatched this with close aides.)
Anyway…they were having Taco’s that night, which is Obama’s favorite and he wanted to get to bed early also.
