Until I see one of the other posters on this thread permit someone with an honorary degree in medicine perform cardiac surgery on their hearts, I will maintain that honorary degrees mean nothing.
When Ted Baxter received an honorary doctorate on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” he wanted his colleagues to call him “Doctor.”
