White House, Obama Campaign, Won’t Answer When President Met with NSC After Benghazi By Fred Lucas October 15, 2012
(CNSNews.com) – Neither the White House nor the Obama re-election campaign will answer when President Barack Obama first met with his National Security Council after the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya that killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens.
On Monday, neither responded to CNSNews.com, which asked, “‘At what hour on what day did President Obama first meet with the National Security Council to discuss what had happened in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012?”
The NSC is chaired by the president and is typically convened during an emergency. Regular attendees are Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, National Security Advisor Tom Donilon and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Martin Dempsey.
Other members include, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. Thus, convening the NSC could allow the intelligence community to communicate with the State Department and potentially settle conflicting information.
On Monday morning, CNSNews.com called the White House, which asked for the question to be e-mailed. CNSNews.com e-mailed the question at 9:01 a.m.
At 10:36 a.m., Bernadette Meehan, director of media outreach and assistant press secretary for the National Security Staff at the White House, responded by e-mail, “Jay will be ready to respond to this in the gaggle today,” referring to White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, who was at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va., where the president is preparing for the second presidential debate.
According to the official White House transcript of the press gaggle that began at 10:47 a.m. and ended at 11:19 a.m., the subject of Benghazi never came up.

This was a National Emergency, the phone call at 3 am that went unanswered.
I didn’t watch the last debate between them because I cannot stand to hear or see Obama, but I think I will force myself to watch this one - at least for a few minutes. I hope Romney takes no prisoners!
Romey had better mention that he flew to Vegas, never went to half the briefs and that has been on gettign money whilst many in his admin are going out there telling us lies.
He also needs to mention how Biden laughed during this topic, how this was a bump in the road and how the family of a dead border agent, families in Mexico who lost loved one and the families of these 4 want and emand answers not the crock his admin has sent out.
Also if this was not about poltics why are they sending out Axelrod and others who are his campaign staff and not Hillary, and co.

Libya is 6 hours ahead. The attack began about 9:30 PM Libyan time which would have been 3:30 PM EST.

So Clinton, Donilon, and Panetta were scheduled to meet at noon, then the Benghazi attacks begin at 3:30, then Panetta was scheduled to meet with Obama and Biden “late in the afternoon.”
Wonder if these meetings happened and what Panetta discussed with all four? Of the 7 people on the NSC, 4 of them were involved. Did Panetta take a message from Hillary to Obama? It’s possible that if Panetta did meet with Obama and Biden, the attacks were already underway and they watched it real time as is described here (Col. Hunt interview):

Obama was informed about the developments in Libya by his National Security Adviser Tom Donilon as the president began a weekly meeting Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey. The White House said Obama was kept apprised throughout the evening and then again Wednesday morning.

I would be surprised if he has met with them at all.
I mean, he’s got an election to run don’t you know? What’s one or two, or, um, four dead Americans weighed in the balance against four more years of bowing to the enemy, all expense paid vacations for the wookie and “golf outings” with the boys.
Maybe they won’t answer when they met with NCS after, because they were likely in touch DURING what was a six hour attack that took place in the middle of the afternoon in Washington DC.
Why promote the theory it was a protest? Because, otherwise it was a coordinated attack on a sovereign consulate, an act of war.
“We’re under attack, it’s an act of wat. What would you like to do Mr. President...?!?!”
Obama wanted to eat taco’s and go to bed...so they labeled is a protest.
Why would he have anything to do with the knowing about the murder of US citizens? Besides claiming he was kept in the dark about the matter, he had important fundraising and campaigning at the top of his “to do” list.
He still hasn’t met with them.
They have promised to have their first meeting, right after they get the BUDGET finished that was due in 2008 to Obama.
