Ann Romney will visit the women of ABC’s “The View” solo Thursday, her husband no longer available to appear on the show he once referred to as “high risk.”
Co-host Barbara Walters announced on the show this morning that she was told over the weekend Mitt Romney could no longer make the appearance.
“Governor Romney was supposed to be on with us this Thursday with Ann Romney,” Walters said. “We were looking forward to it. Over the weekend, his people have said that he had scheduling problems, and would not be coming on with us, nor did not feel that he could reschedule. We are happy to have Mrs. Romney on with us, and are sorry that we won’t have Governor Romney, and that’s the situation.”
Walters left the door open for Romney to “change his mind,” adding that it would “be our pleasure to have him on the show.”

They are going to talk about her MS, her riding horses, raising her kids and how she met the Mittman. They will probably comment on her wardrobe and how expensive it looks.
Then after her segment is over, they will cherrypick anything they could to make her seem evil.

Vicious attacks against Ann Romney could “turn off” enough voters that it ends up helping Mitt gain votes, while not having, both, Mitt and Ann on the show doesn’t have the same effect on voters who do watch that show.
The downside of this is of course that we’ll never learn what kind of twee Mitt Womney would be if he were a twee.

Don’t elevate their show to a level it does not deserve. It is sounding board for leftists, alone, this way. Let the righties sound off on Hannity.

I think you are right on the money. It will be a manipulative play to show how wealthy they as compared to normal people to make Obama look like the regular people’s choice. I bet Joy will tear into her at some point on the show to try and catch her off balance and make her look bad by trying to get her dander up. The View cast is very wealthy for the most part and don’t have to endure what regular folks do.
