Hillary Clinton: "I Take Responsibility" For Benghazi (But It Was An Underlng's Fault)
Ace of Spades HQ ^

Posted on 10/15/2012 6:38:31 PM PDT by Perdogg

But of course she blames it on lower-level advisers.

She says "I am responsible" for the security of State's 60,000 workers, but then says she's not responsible at all:

"The decision about security aspects are made by security professionals."

Source: Wendell Goler on FoxNews, about 40 minutes ago. The quote was printed on screen.

I'm responsible, but then again, I'm not; the buck stops with me, but not really, it was this low-level political appointee scapegoat who's going to claim he "shielded" me from these demands for additional security on his own authority.

But don't blame the President. See, I've taken responsibility.

I was responsible for the low-level scapegoat whose fault this really is.

Okay, Ms. Clinton: What are the names of these "security professionals" you say made this decision? Forgive my suspicions, but I'd like to ask them for their side of the story.

Not sayin, just sayin: the next step is “we meant to do that”. The video excuse was a scam to fool the enemies, who the drones track down in the desert this weekend...

(DOD) The action by which a commander assigns part of his or her authority commensurate with the assigned task to a subordinate commander. While ultimate responsibility cannot be relinquished, delegation of authority carries with it the imposition of a measure of responsibility. The extent of the authority delegated must be clearly stated.

Never never never forget that those anti-aircraft missiles that are missing in Libya came up missing on Obama’s and Hillary’s watch.
I’m really torn between saying much about this because some people might freak out, and telling the truth about these things with no sugar coating so that Obama and Hillary will be held responsible for being so careless and stupid with something this dangerous.
I was not an Air Defense Officer in the Army, but, as an Operations Officer, I was responsible for planning air defense for my units. I know some about air defense weapons.
We need to hold Obama and Hillary accountable for these missiles that are evidently missing in Libya. Not having security in Benghazi was stupid, but causing the conditions that led to these missiles being lost is beyond belief. I know that they didn’t grab those missiles and leave them in the desert, but their actions in kicking off this military and clandestine stuff in Libya without taking the proper precautions to safeguard those missiles is absolutely incompetent. We locked down units for having one old pistol missing. Missing weapons aren’t tolerated in the military and we should not tolerate government employees whose actions cause weapons like these missiles to be missing.

I recall that in 1973, after one of Nixon's speeches dealing with the unfolding revelations about the Watergate coverup, some liberal columnist saying that Nixon had accepted responsibility but not the blame.

Remember that it was the Nixon impeachment committee where Hillary got her start.

Oops! Hilly is not the better man than Obama!

Either the buck stops with the top leader, or it doesn’t. Looks like Hilly has the same wishy-washey leadership traits as Obama.

BTW, I predict that the White House will announce that those “security professionals” were appointed by Bush. Afterall, Obama needs Zipper-Boy Billy Clinton to keep on slicking audiences for him, so a few lies here and there might help Hilly !

It's just words to the left...Yep, it is all about spin, they are confident in their ability to lie themselves out of any situation.

If Obozo wins in 4 years she plans to ride it into the White House.

Yep, as Jefferson said, in a democracy people get the kind of government they deserve. Too many people do not take their duties as citizens seriously.

Supposedly, along with Rome, Moscow has seven hills, as does also Constantinople Istanbul.

The only other major seat of past Christian influence is Alexandria. I don't know if they have much in the way of hills there, but they've been a lesser voice and influence for some time.

Time for a Mexican, Central American, or South American pope? Next time around I mean. The present guy is doing ok. I sort of like his writings. Often there are personal opinion 'asides' that I can relate to. The Marianism stuff, not so much (not at all actually).

But that's ok...it re-assures me I have no reason to fear them (as they desire I should).

False notes of prophecy, mixed in or included with portions of truth, not only give one leeway to ignore portions of a wider set of "messages", but fairly demands that one do so.

seems to me if Obama pulls a “I am to blame, I take full responsibility” of Tuesday, he loses. He gives Romney a charge he can make over and over in the next 3 weeks.. If he doesn’t do that he also looses... and Romney still has that weapon.

no way Zero can win on this one.. it’s too late.. It’s been over a month.

Likewise with any attack he makes, folks will see it as “wag the dog”... also too late. He waited to damn long to act like a President.

he is cooked.

Good article. Thanks. Looks like Ace nails it. She "takes responsibility" but blames underlings. Typical demo-crap-crap. The witch makes me ill...

I really do hate their guts. I told my 75 yr old father that the other day, and he said blandly, "I don't hate them. I just want them dead."

Made me start fantasizing about a plane to Hawaii opening up like a tin can (it has happened before) but this time, some added turbulence that shakes certain select few outta' da' bus.

Small meteors would be good, but there is the concern there that if the One in Charge of Heavenly Bodies begins to send a few stones this-away to take out "evil" ones, there might be little or no place for most all of us to hide.

That's one of those "careful what you wish for" sort of things.

Yup, very true!

A fitting end to Obama’s Leading from Behind Foreign Policy.

BTW, what is the difference between following and leading from behind?

Benghazi is now disappeared as an issue, and we are back to “Bin Laden is dead, GM is alive!!!”

The “intelligence professional” who gets blamed is disappeared as a living human being.

The One is reelected.

Hitlery gets the Nobel Piece Prize.

The One appoints her to the Supreme Court.

How can any of you be so disrespectful and not trust Hillary.

This heroic woman is made of steel and she has earned America’s trust.

The more I think about this the more I get pissed off. If I drop data center power I will be fired. My job is to mess with it. Obama allowed the murder of four highly trained personnel in Libya and they all skate around. I am not proud of my Nation right now.
