I just hope the union doesn’t send a couple of thugs to beat him up.

Thanks for posting. I cannot imagine a 74 year old continuing to do that work of younger men. Even more inspiring is a union guy unfurled a Romney banner in the heart of Obama Town -- he's clearly a smart man.
Great video of him and a coworker atop the tower here.

The irony of a union ironworker hanging a Romney banner on the Willis(Sears) Tower in Chicago, Obama’s Town, is not lost on the union workers in the MidWest.
The irony of the use of the word “irony” in a sentence about an ironworker would be ,though.
God bless and keep safe John Rukavina!

The Rukavinas grew up in the same neighborhood as I did. They were well known in their field then. I didn’t know this guy but I knew his sons.

Another irony here is that he put in on the ABC antenna.
"""affixed a Romney banner as well as an American flag on the ABC antenna on Willis Tower minutes after it was completed Sept. 30."""""
TAKE THAT ABC............woooweee sweet, live with it. rofl

My Dad was topping trees at this same age. This guy tops that of course for height.
A new hero. I’m impressed and that only happens once in a great long while.

Thank you for posting that! Amazing footage. The American flag and the Romney banner hung on the ABC antenna, in Chicago, is priceless!
