Giuliani Says Being on CNN like Debating the Obama Campaign
GOPUSA ^ | 10/16/2012 | GOP Staff

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani appeared on a panel discussion led by anchor and notorious left-winger Soledad O'Brien. While discussing the attacks in Benghazi, Libya in which Giuliani believes the Obama administration is involved in a cover-up, O'Brien defended Barack Obama so often that he was forced to ask, "Am I debating with the president's campaign?"

During interviews with Republicans, O'Brien has been caught numerous times simply spewing Obama talking points or lifting questions straight from left-wing web sites such as the Daily Kos. Just look at this exchange with Giuliani.

How can someone claim to be an actual "journalist" and act so one-sided? Is it any wonder that CNN continually trails in the ratings? Once the dominate cable news outlet, CNN has become nothing more than a mouthpiece for Obama

And the spin tomorrow, no matter how badly Obama performs tonight, will be that Obama is the comeback kid, has reset the race, and "went out and did what he needed to do". The media learned from their mistake of telling the truth in the first debate, they won't let it happen again. I'm guessing the "Obama is Back" stories have already been written are just sitting on the table waiting for the debate to wrap up.

From reading on another thread, it’s apparent CNN has been paid money to be in this role.

Obama did so bad the first time, the verdict was in before the media got a chance to affect it. I was on Facebook with some liberal friends and they were practically crying about how bad he was doing. I was gloating.

Michael Moore's tweet about how Obama bombed because he did his debate prep against John Kerry came out before the debate ended.

Let's hope tonight's debate goes the same way. You can't make dog crap taste like vanilla ice cream.

The press can not control American thought like they did in the past....not when everybody wants to be the first with a comment and keep their name out there, and now just because they were not called in to give their comments on air after the debate those voices left out can get their 2 cents in while the debate is on going on Tweeter and Facebook in real time. They can have their gotcha moment before the debate even ends and gets to the talking heads chosen for the nights talking points without a studio forcing a direction on thought...by then the talking heads are playing catch up in the direction public opinion has taken.

Unless the DNC decides to get their talking points out to everybody they can not control the herd and what happens when one is not loyal and those points are told in advance....thought and talking points can not be controlled as easily anymore.

Can not imagine why the UN and dems want to control the internet.

This is an excellent example of media spin. A case study in Goebbels practices at work in the 21st century.

I do not expect a “flash poll” by CNN to be released tonight if it shows Romney in a favorable light. They will try to manipulate it somehow and only release if it helps Obummer. They will NOT make that mistake twice.

Easy there's a revolving door between dem operatives and network 'news'. Look at George Stephanopoulos - the guy ran a war room for Bill Clinton. He knows every dirty trick in the book - but put him on ABC and he pretends to be a journalists.

What the profession doesn't understand is the American people were slow to 'catch on' to what was happening - but now that they are - they won't forget quickly.

The one product 'news' had to sell was credibility - helping one side gives that away...

Like a coach or ref throwing games to a favorite. Works in the short run - in the long run it's a disaster.

The only difference will be that people will actually see Romney speak.

Thats what happened last time: the media was left holding their puds in their fingers. The people KNEW what was said.

Hopefully it will happen again, tho I know what the spin will be: like you suggest...spin in the absence of any reality whatsoever is just hollow sounding bs....even the media knows that.
And if they don’t, the country does....
