President Barack Obama posed for a photo-op this morning in Virginia, where he is getting ready for tonight's presidential debate. He ventured out for a photo-op, and had this very brief exchange with a reporter:

If Romney doesn’t go that way, maybe he can go with “Mr. President, given that Secretary Clinton has accepted responsibility for the lack of security which enabled the attacks in Benghazi to claim the lives of our Ambassador and four others, has she submitted her resignation? If not, will you be asking for her resignation?
If neither of those is the case, what is the actual cost of her acceptance of responsibility?
There are so many interesting ways in which Romney could effectively play this. Yours is a good one. I hope Romney doesn’t pass on the opportunity.

Mitt could do that but it would go nowhere. Obama can say “of course the buck stops with him ...” while not accepting any blame. That is too easy. No, mitt needs to ask specific questions about the coverup, what did the president know and when, why was there no security?, why was there differing accounts of why this happened, does obama still think the video caused all this, etc? It should be watergate style questioning.

She knifed him. It makes him look like what he is: a "blame-others" weasel and oblivious weakling who doesn't know what's going on in his own administration.
The fact that he fumbled his response is proof of it. Any real president would has stood up and claimed that he's the president and bears ultimate responsibility for the country's national security, including the safety of its diplomats. He didn't. He weaseled.

Mr. President, If you are truly concerned about the failure to protect our ambassador, you would have already started your own intensive investigation as to what went wrong, and by now determined the weak link in YOUR administration AND taken action to correct/remove those at fault.
I think the plan is to steadily turn up the heat on Libya and wait for the kenyan to boil over in one of the debates. The McCain statement last night was part of it.

I read the comments on Yahoo last night under the story of Hildabeast’s statement. My God, I thought I was reading the comments here on Free Republic! It was 100% anti-0bama! They were everything from 0bama throwing her under the bus to being part of his war on women to being a wuss for hiding behind her skirt! There were NO, and I mean NOT ONE single comment that defended BO.
