In response to a question concerning high gas prices, President Obama explained that gas prices were low when he took office in January 2009 "because the economy was on the verge of collapse":
That's not true!
Gas had been steady and at that price level for about 6 years!
YOU! In just 4 short years have put policies into place that have doubled that price in some areas and in others it is nearly 2 and 1/2 times more.
That's $5 bucks a gallon and buddy we all feel it when I see $100 bucks ping on the meter of the gas pump.

Romney should have countered: “So you are telling us the economy is TWICE as good now as when you took office???”
We all guffawed in my house at this a$$wipe’s answer. Who knew gas prices were low because of a crappy economy? We should be paying 10 cents for our gas by now then!
