(Reuters) - Voters say that President Barack Obama performed better than Republican rival Mitt Romney by a substantial margin in their second debate, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Wednesday.
Forty-eight percent of registered voters gave the victory to Obama, while 33 percent say Romney prevailed in the Tuesday debate, the online poll found.
The poll reflects the broad consensus of debate observers who said Obama's forceful approach gave him the upper hand over Romney, who was widely seen as the victor in their first matchup on October 3.

Online poll? No internals found at web site.
So, from the simple fact that Obama didn't do AS BADLY AS he did at the first debate, that means he won the debate?
The lady must be smoking some of BO's crack.
(Has Obama ever commented publicly about the "knockout game"?)
T'ain't nuthin'.
Registered, online - never mind.....
Do these voters think Ahmadinejad and Putin are impressed with Blinky’s swagger and loud preacher voice?
Has roughly the same degree of accuracy as a political cartoon.
Online poll? Yawning....

And more independents swing to Mitt. It’s all over but putting the transition team together.
As Rush said Monday, all “the One” has to do is show up breathing and he’ll be called the winner. - Twinkie says “no he wasn’t”.
This is one of those rare sentences in which every word and every phrase is incorrect.
They pollsters have no idea if the people contacted are voters. They did not verify.
Obama did not “perform better”. Obama told lie after lie. Then he and moderator Candy Crowley repeatedly interrupted Romney. Obama did not say anything true or worth listening to. He and Crowley just teamed up to repeat the same talking points.
This was not a “debate” in any real sense of the word. It was Obama and the moderator repeating the same talking points and Romney continually being interrupted and unfairly attacked.
The candidates just answered Democrat selected questions from Democrat operatives in the audience who were falsely said to be independent voters. The whole thing was a dishonest exercise in disinformation.

0bama is a LIAR and he STILL should be called out for COVERING UP what happened in Libya. This was an event staged by the 0bama regime to result in a hostage-taking at the Embassy. The security draw-down beforehand was to AVOID HAVING MORE 'ACTORS IN THIS PLAY' and so the foreign actors could overtake the Embassy, taking Stevens hostage. Unfortunately, they didn't count on two former SEALs with M4's showing up and firing upon them. Things went from a planned hostage-taking to a full-on terrorist attack, resulting in 4 dead Americans. 0bama proceeded to run with the 'hostage-taking false narrative' regarding "a protest because of the anti-Islam video" even though the event didn't go as planned. He DID go to bed that night, probably not knowing the event unfolded differently than was planned. He flew to Vegas the following day because he KNEW this terrorist attack was HIS staged event and not a prelude to more terrorist attacks. Understanding this is key to understanding why 0bama was so cavalier in the aftermath of the Benghazi attack. 0bama knew that if he blamed a specific group in Benghazi, the truth about this being a 'false flag' might come out so he chose to blame an American filmmaker instead, TO SHIFT BLAME, pleasing the hired foreign actors.
0bama was to 'save the day' JUST PRIOR TO THE ELECTION, brokering the release of Stevens and bolstering his re-election chances.. A bounce that could've put him over the top..
You have to wonder if the guy with the cellphone in his mouth is thinking, "Oh sh*t, this guy wasn't supposed to die, damnit! He's a dead 'hostage', oh no.."
It’s been said a million times, but it’s true: the GOP must STOP engaging in these debates until they can set up a netural situation otherwise it’s the same old same old every 4 years.
Yeh that must be why Gallup has just released a new poll showing Romney leading 51-45.
It reminds me of a cartoon from some years ago: two dogs are at a computer and one is telling the other, “On the internet, no one knows you’re a dog.”
Now it is a political necessity because it is so blatant.
