Authorities in Libya have named a leader of a Benghazi-based Islamist group as commander in the attack that killed the U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans last month, the New York Times reports.
Libyans involved in the investigation say Ahmed Abu Khattala was seen by witnesses as leading the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. Abu Khattala is leader of the Ansar al-Shariah, a militant group that wants to advance Islamic law in Libya, according to the the Times.

Obama will probably throw a few missiles that way in the next few days for purely political reasons. His administration is the one that is arming AQ and the Islamists all over the Middle East right now!

It was worse than that. They told Amb. Stevens and his guys that the airbags were to be left turned off, and they weren't allowed to fasten their seatbelts since that would be "politically sensitive". They sacrificed these guys cynically -- and then covered up the actual extent of the savagery of the attack and murders, which was comparable to other Al-Q'aeda attacks on Americans in Iraq.
They are lie, lie, lying, and they are covering up literally every fact they can about this incident.
