NBC: Romney's 'Binders' Comment Shows He 'Doesn't Have Any Leg to Stand On' With Women
NewsBusters ^

Between Wednesday's Nightly News and Thursday's Today, NBC displayed an obsession with the liberal meme of attacking Mitt Romney's "binders full of women" remark during Tuesday's presidential debate. The network's delusional hyping of the manufactured controversy reached a crescendo when Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski appeared on Today to proclaim: "Romney just completely doesn't have any leg to stand on when it comes to women and the economy." [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump]

Today co-host Savannah Guthrie teed up Brzezinski to slam Romney: "...it has taken on a life of its own. The Democrats love it. They think it really shows Mitt Romney at his most awkward. But if the fight is for independent, undecided women voters, do you think this is an issue that's weighty enough to resonate?"

I’m sure this is important to the average voter.

Stinking Democrat liars.

He meant binders full of the resumes of women who had applied to work in his administration, many of whom he hired and gave good fair salaries to.

Unlike our current federal administration which hires a few token women at less money than the tax cheat loud mouth men it hires.

I don’t know what the big deal is here. I used to be a supervisor and was involved in hiring. HR would send me a pile of resumes. What’s the difference? That I didn’t have them in a binder?

TV press monkeys continue to make fools of themselves.

In other news, Ambassador Stevens is still dead.

What am I missing. Headhunters, consultants, college recruiters, etc. all have binders full of resumes categorized by desirable traits.

Unlike Obama who hired a handful of female marxist cronies he’s known for years.

Does NBC actually think women are that stupid? This is a desperate attempt to pander to women and it’s going to backfire.

This is so stupid, it's beyond belief.

The 2nd debate was another fiasco for Zero because of Crowleygate, and this is the only thin reed the Dems can pull from it: a revival of the silly “war on women.”

Dear God Please let people see that someone who is too stupid to understand what ‘binder’ is and somehow thinks it means “women tied up” are too stupid to vote and afflict them with a stomach or intestinal disorder that keeps them home from voting... they can be cured the next day, that’s aOK

Amen

Maybe the people at NBC think that “binders full of women” is a code word for porn?
If they do, they have sick minds.

For 82% of the pay of their male counterparts.

“Binders full of women” is way more important than Obama lies about energy or Benghazi IMO. /s

Minitru just wants something else to report on than Benghazi. They’ll latch onto anything, no matter how small, trivial or stupid (especially stupid!).

And then underpaid them and treated them like crap. But libs and feminist groups don’t care about that because they have Bindergate!

William Ayers and Bernadette Dhorn collect royalties on a book of poetry written by the women of the weather underground. The women who did the actual writing got nothing.

The sick irony is that this meme comes from
supporters of SLAVERY. The DNC supports
countries that “own” SLAVES.

THAT is why they make a big deal about women’s
names in binders. To try to divert.

Okay, hopefully I can get the words in my head to page in an articulate manner. I am a woman, and usually when I hear the leftest drivel on the “war on women” I may not agree with it, but I usually understand the “angle” and see how it might influence the squishy middle. BUT, I do NOT even get the angle with this binder crap. Not only do I not see it as offensive, I think it is SO ludicrous as to piss off the middle. Can someone PLEASE explain to me what is offensive in this comment from the lefts POV???? Seriously scratching me head!

NBC is the Democrat megaphone through which its cheerleaders root for the home team. Any resemblance to an actual news media organization is simply a matter of wearing the uniforms and acting the parts.

As for Mika Brzezinski, it is common knowledge how and why she got her job, and even those who do not know can assume as much simply by observing the gaping distance between her talents and the demands of mere adequacy.
