My liberal friends and family often ask what's the source of my passion to see Mitt Romney defeat Barack Obama. They never like the answer. Pvt. Francheska Velez. Pvt. Francheska Velez, 21, an Army bomb disposal specialist who served in Iraq was three months pregnant when Major Nidal Hasan deliberately shot her in the abdomen during the murderous rampage at Ft. Hood. Screaming in agony, her final words were "My baby, my baby." Witnesses in the Article 32 hearing in 2010 testified that a man in an Army combat uniform stood by a front counter, shouted "Allahu Akbar!"("God is great!") and started shooting. Major Hasan also had 20 "email communications with senior al-Qaeda recruiter and Yemen-based cleric Anwar al-Awlaki." It has been 153 weeks, or almost three years, since the Ft. Hood murders on November 5, 2009 and Major Hasan's court-martial has still not begun. Justice for the victims and their families has not only been criminally delayed, but the integrity of the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice)and its processes have been damaged. Don't expect any MSM coverage on the three-year anniversary of the shootings, a day before the presidential election. (Did Major Hasan specifically choose November 5th, 2009 to memorialize terrorism just prior to the 2012 election? Remember the Madrid bombings?) From Time magazine, November 13, 2009, From the moment Major Nidal Malik Hasan was recognized as the alleged assailant in the killings of 13 soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, a complex, keenly balanced legal process kicked in: the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). The code demands both speed and balance, experts say, and sets up the process for a court-martial that would have the 39-year-old Army psychiatrist judged by a jury of his fellow officers not for what motivated him but simply for what he did.

I wish someone at at the Town Hall had asked Hussein what is engraved on his ring.
Remember indeed.
That would have been great, but I bet they already had a good lie made up.
If Obama loses this election I wouldn't be surprised to see a pardon of all charges. That would be a slap back at the American People.
Watch for it.I hope I'm wrong.
Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot...
I find it difficult to believe that this too was not treason. Major Hasan took the OATH and this was indeed TREASON most foul!
The ba$tard should already be dead and in an unmarked grave.
“We may never know the motive behind this unfortunate incident” - BHO
Not only was it treason—they had plenty of warnings about this guy before he started shooting.
I can’t imagine why the Military Police on base were not armed and ready to take him out the minute the shooting started.
It will be interesting to see if anything changes, or if our service men and women will continue to be sitting ducks.
I’d headshoot him in bed; wouldn’t waste the money on a gallows.
Lee - why do you have liberal friends? What does light have to do with darkness?
I suggest we tip him over in the Mojave Desert and leave him to squirm like the worm he is.
Not that I'm bitter, or anything.
MPs aren't all that common. When I worked on an Air Force Base I don't think there were any SPs in my building or any of the ones in quick walking distance. They worked the gates and some of the high security locations like where the aircraft and weapons were stored, not the common offices.
They also liked to follow me around and wait for me to speed, but they only caught me once.
The administration banned the use of the word ‘terrorism.’
That’s why Obama couldn’t call it a terrorist act — he doesn’t believe terrorists exist.
He’s far more comfortable blaming our First Amendment than holding those who murder Americans what they really are.
While on the subject of Libya,
Mitt needs to ask BHO why he called
the terrorist attack
at Ft Hood "workplace violence" ?
I fully concur with your concerns about the pardon - not only to Jihad Nidal, but potentially ALL Jihaddi prisoners.
He’ll either give them first class airfare (on our dime of course) back to azcrackistan for a hero’s welcome, or full American citizenship, voting privileges, and a brand new AK with a case of ammo compliments of A-General Eric HOLE-Duh.
Possibly both.
Don’t be surprised if he pays them Reparation$ as well, as he has (one way or another) his other major voting constituency.
