Obama: ‘When four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal’

President Obama, during the taping of The Daily Show, discussed the Benghazi terrorist attack that claimed the lives of the U.S. Ambassador to Libya and three other Americans.

“Here’s what I’ll say. When four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal. We’re going to fix it,” Obama said per pool. “The government is a big operation and [at] any given time something screws up,” he also said, saying that he believes “you find out what’s broken and you fix it.”

Obama promised that his administration publicized information about the Benghazi attack as quickly as it came in, which contradicts previous reports.

“Within 24 hours of the 9-11 anniversary attack on the United States consulate in Benghazi, U.S. intelligence agencies had strong indications al Qaeda–affiliated operatives were behind the attack, and had even pinpointed the location of one of those attackers,” according to The Daily Beast’s Eli Lake.

The National Counter Terrorism Center only told Congress that it was a terrorist attack nine days after the assault took place.

You folks just don’t understand how brilliant our president is. His use of the word optimal is just a sign of his genius. Anyone with intellect would understand his meaning but the vast majority of under-educated require an interpretation because the word used in that context is just not the way normal people speak.

“When four Americans get killed, it’s NOT ACCEPTABLE!!””

Sure it isn’t. But to a sociopath, when four Americans get killed under his watch, it’s like having to wipe a piece of dog crap off his shoe. Not optimal.

"Something screws up," "bumps in the road," and "not optimal."

What a shameful way to refer to the murder one of your own ambassadors, along with three other Americans.

Imagine, if you can, similar statements by Bush.

The MSM would have destroyed Bush and driven him from office within the month!

He could leave for Hawaii on the 7th and we’d all be much better off.....and he wouldn’t be missed at the WH because he hasn’t worked a day since he got there.

Ok. Let’s do it this way..

op·ti·mal  (pt-ml)
adj.
Most favorable or desirable; optimum.

So, let’s rephrase with the above. When four Americans get killed, it is not desirable. Hmmm or When four Americans get killed, it is not favorable.

No, it’s not optimal, desirable, nor is it favorable. It is awful, horrible, horrific.

Exactly! It’s not desirable or favorable. You are as smart as Obama!

No, he’s been down here in NW Florida, campaigning for our TEA Party Congressman, Steve Southerland, R.FL. Dist. 2. Now, either Boehner has seen the light or Steve has gone over to the dark side. I suspect the latter.

Reading his comments have made me feel physically ill. I am sicken by these statements that disregard the suffering of our murdered citizens, the pain of those that love them, and damage to our country

Is Boehner hiding until the election is over?

He's deep undercover.

He’s sleeping it off somewhere, because Mr.B is a pompous, alcoholic, country club, under-achiever. Most Republican Reps knew that when he accepted the job, and most Republican Reps won’t hesitate telling you that now. If you don’t believe me, have a quiet chat with your representative “off the record”. There are quite a number of backroom types who need their arses seriously kicked for that appointment.

“optimal”: Most favorable or desirable; optimum.

Calling Obama a POS is a slur against feces.

Well I hope you’re wrong, but you’re probably not. Jimmy Carter has stayed a constant embarrassment and a national pain in the ass to this very day, now that I think about it. And this thought just popped into my head, a gathering of ex-Presidents is going to be a pretty sorry sight for a few years isn’t it! I hope the Bush’s stay away from gatherings like that.

Just when you think he and his VP can’t say or do something dumber, they just blow your mind with something so off the F**king wall that it’s dumbfounding.

The man is a complete and total moron.

I hope he would lay low and let Romney act like President the last 3 months, but I doubt it will happen. He will have 3 months to pay us back for kicking his butt out.

nope, he went on that comedy show, and that has just degraded the position even more .

He and his wife has been disgusting and if the founding fathers could see what was going on with activist judges, the homosexuals and their agenda and how obama and the radical left have or are taking over they woudl be turning in their graves

Thanks for the reply, its good to think the Speaker of House might actually do something to help the party.
I pray he stays far away from Romney because to me he is just a reminder of the last 4 years.

he is cold and detached. the man has no feelongs and it shows in what he does and how he looks.

He could not be bothered about life or who dies so long as the coward is not hurt.

We have to remember how he has never been in harms way, how he has even given everything on a silver spoon through affirmative action
