...Meanwhile, Jeff Dobbs takes a similar look at North Carolina, and finds:

Total Votes: 50,674

Rep: 27,455 = 54.2%

Unaffiliated: 9,255 = 18.3%

Yup. NC is safely in Romney’s column.

Mark 1 down for Obama this year!

I fully agree. To defeat any chance of dragging this through a bunch of courts and gets to the supremes where stupid butt wipe Roberts can destroy the Republic further with a positive Obama ruling.

No doubt about Tennessee.
Even Gore could not win his own state.
Black Memphis is about all Obozo can hope for.

If Romney gets 16 votes in California, Obama is toast!

Incidentally, is it racist to say that Obama is toast?

I pray for a decisive victory for one particular reason. If riots occur, I don’t want the rioters to have any realistic, rational room to hang their behavior on a “stolen” close election. If it’s decisive and they do it anyway, it will show what would be the truth in any case, no matter the strength of the win-that they were going to riot regardless.

I wonder if it ever occurs to them that with app 12% of the population and dropping, do they really think there can be a black candidate, much less winner, in every election post Obama? Just like they claim “disparity” if their representation in entertainment, sports, company positions, isn’t at least 50% or more when they’re only app 12% of the population and dropping. How do they think there can be a greater pool of qualified candidates for any position when they have app 12% of the population and whites are between 63-70% depending how it’s counted?

By that token, so to speak, how can they think that once a black has been in a given position for the first time, that forever after a black must own that position, or we’re reverting back to the ubiquitous “racism”?

If Romney has a secret unreported 15 point lead in NC, then wouldn’t neighboring Virginia have Romney ahead about 10 points?

Great.....

Texas in person Early Voting begins next Monday, Oct. 22nd. Romney will get a lot of the approx. 40% or so statewide that cast in person early votes, but Texas will go Romney regardless.

The entitlement classes think this way - once one of 'their own' occupy an important office, they see any other kind of person occupying that same office as a step backwards to the Jim Crow era, or presufferage, or whatever.

They feel they are entitled to the position.

I was headed to vote this morning here in Tennessee but got a call from a friend who got to the polls early and gave up.

She said it was too crowded and that she'd try again later in the day. This is in a heavily Republican area so we expect a good turnout for Romney. Voter enthusiasm here in the Volunteer State is at an all time high and people can't wait to vote the Omeba out of office!
