Sensing a moment of political vulnerability on national security, Republicans pounced Friday on disclosures that President Obama's administration could have known early on that militants, not angry protesters, launched the deadly attack on U.S. diplomats in Libya.
Within 24 hours of the Sept. 11 attack, the CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington that there were eyewitness reports that it was carried out by militants, officials said. But for days, the Obama administration blamed it on an out-of-control demonstration over a video made in America ridiculing Islam's prophet Muhammad.
Paul Ryan, the Republican vice presidential nominee, led Friday's charge....

damn = dam....
First one worked just fine... As in he didn’t give one.
Documents show Stevens worried about Libya security threats, Al Qaeda before consulate attack "Across 166 pages of internal State Department documents -- released Friday by a pair of Republican congressmen pressing the Obama administration for more answers on the Benghazi terrorist attack -- slain U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and the security officers assigned to protect him repeatedly sounded alarms to their superiors in Washington about the intensifying lawlessness and violence in Eastern Libya, where Stevens ultimately died............"
I believe the attack on the Embassy could have been put down with ease had the Embassy and the men we had there were properly protected. The Security weakness was the invitation. The fault of 4 deaths goes directly to Obama.
All they have to do is have a real investigation about this attack and many high up will fall. Maybe that is why it is not happening. This has been a disgrace to America and to the folks that defend us!
This article should have started with paragraph two, but, of course, we must first take a swipe at Republicans before reporting the facts. Wonder what page this was on?
In case you haven’t noticed - Republicans are not necessarily our friends but Conservatives are.
“holes” would be somewhat of an understatement. Last night Fox’s Bret Baier did a whole hour running thru the chronology, etc. Part of the show was Greg Palkot doing a walk-thru of the actual place plus a digitized presentation of the probable path of people and event progression. Everyone seems to agree that the nearby security people, who were killed, as well as the initial rescue force, at least six more people , were all armed with handguns. By all accounts these security people are all experienced, highly trained, specops kinds of guys who presumably had all earned marksmanship badgets of the appropriate sort. BUT there is no report, REPEAT no report, of any dirtbag raghead needing so much as a bandaid after the hootenany was over.-————————————————————————————————Even if all these guys had some sort of “don’t shoot first “ order that’s going out the window as soon as a dumbass tries to burn me out of my house. No one saw these hoodlums bring up fuel cans? (boy, do I miss flame throwers. They’d have been a big help in Falluja). ——————————————————————————————————Even the people asking the questions in this matter are a bunch of amateurs. Even the guy Woods who had been in charge of the security detail earlier and who could have steered the questions to something meaningful seemed un-motivated to shed any light except to make his point that he’d also requested more force earlier. The whole event seems to have been less of a firefight than a “who wants to be a target” party? There is a claim now that the rescue force from the Annex was not State Dept. but CIA. And those folks think they don’t have to explain anything so the notion that this event is ever going to be explained is remote.
LetterBee was always my favorite but don’t forget Bailouts and Bozo-—————
