That’s exactly why 32 was written. To stop unions using union dues to pay for political campaigns.
It also effects corporations too.
Yes on 32!

The younger Munger has given nearly $23 million in contributions to the measure.
Unfortunately, Munger's money seems to have come in late. Here in the Frisco area, I have been hearing anti-32 commercials since August. I only recently heard a pro-32 ad. And that was on the conservative talk station KSFO! A waste of their money. Nothing on TV yet while the unions have been on the air for weeks.
It is still an important election. The tax initiatives are a lot closer and the Rats are squealing so we have a chance to vote them down. My rule is yes on 32 and 33, no everything else.
Also the state senate and assembly elections are critical. The Rats are close to a 2/3 majority there. if that happens, they can raise your taxes any time they want. Which will be all the time!
So get out and vote at least once.

The whole concept of labor unions is outdated and unnecessary, as there are loads of State and Federal laws that protect workers’ rights and safety.
The contract is between the union and the business. Nothing in the agreement indicates that the union is supposed to be heavily involved in politics and is thus able to take money from workers to support the union bosses views and LIFE STYLES.

I will vote yes...However, I am not sure that it will pass...
There are still too many voters in CA sympathetic to unions...
CA is having financial problems not because “rich people” are not paying enough taxes but because public sector unions are “too strong”...Unfortunately, not enough people realize that.
