Do you also post as “catsup”? Melancholy and RedSteel have linked a thread series in which one “catsup” stated such and more, and touted the idiot Nate Silver polling. Cats R Us?

So, can address this potential mis-identity thoroughly and establish provenance and bona fides. If they are in error, and I would ask them to verify ISP/node info for both FR posters, one a member since Aug. 14 2010 one “catsup”, the other since May 24,2009 “catsrus”, then error acknowledged and apology due.

However:
The remainder of my reply still serves to place this “concern” in a proper perspective. It isn’t the machines or who owned the companies that made them (unless of course one is real certified moron voter “undecided” who would make their mind up for POTUS from such idiotic positing). It is WHO is counting them and maintaining the machines (SEIU), or disappearing with the physical voted ballots (as happened in Volusia County,FL Bush/Gore). By re-circulating this asinine lefty blog post on the basis of facebook (aka butt book) lends electronic assistance of such puerile tactics. Sort of like the high hopes obamao had in a full IPO of facebook, with posting cash and id mining sales for a big political “push”. For the “moron” voters who would rely on facebook in the first place for valid information.

For 14 years as a freeper I've read thousands of posted articles here that can be construed as liberal propaganda/lies/troll bait, what have you.

I've always been grateful for those freepers who, by posting such articles in good faith, keep us informed what the enemy is up to.

I'm PARTICULARLY interested to hear and read the scurillous and evil lies always disseminated by the Left immediately before an election so that I'm prepared and armed with the details and can counteract them if necessary.

The freepers who jumped on Catsrus made me ill with their nastiness. As if we haven't had enough attacks on fellow freepers in the past 6 months by the members of the wolf pack haters roaming this board with their vicious attacks against anti-LDS/anti-Romney supporters.

Those who have tried to slice and dice the poster under discussion on this thread, those who are aggressively trying to DICTATE what this poster should or should not post, and those who feel compelled to tell this fellow freeper to "get lost" and worse....you should be ashamed of yourselves and you should apologize.

Those of YOU who are throwing stones are the disgrace to this board, not the poster who put the article up in all good faith.

Catsrus, I'm particularly grateful for you posting this article as I have family in the voting machine sales business in Iowa. I'm going to check with one of the principals to see what I can find out about this rumor....and if it has any basis in fact. If I hear anything I'll post it.

Thanks again for posting.....and for true grit under snarky and uncalled-for sniper fire.

And obama owns the Sec. of State in how many states, including Vermont? THAT is the real ticket, esp. the one in Wisconsin. Seriously.

This concern about who made the machines is to distract perhaps from the real plan, with real people affecting outcome— classic Marxist tactics. For those of us with some years of political corruption hi-jinks experience.

The posting needs to be corrected, as to headline and the overall information basis, and apparently the id of the poster not confused with known trolls. In any case, leaping to “worry” or “concern” from a potential false flag irritant by the descendants of ACORN-— is not something which should stand up to FR scrutiny. So this remains to be seen-— in the interim:

While checking on the machines and who maintains them, please check on the Sec. of State, the elections boards and the “chain of custody” of physical ballots—and if such a chain exists. Republican attorneys in each county monitor this every election, and especially the military disenfranchisement being done by democrats regularly.

FL and many other states have had the only effective means of preventing voter fraud— physical scanned ballots (like college testing) that are sealed in a locked box in a precinct, which can be monitored for 1.) “overvoting”- exceeding the number of legally registered voters in a precinct and 2.)improper counting of absentee votes and finally 3.) re-counts if legally demanded.

Anything else (like punchcard ballots) is potentially at risk for “fixing”. The questioning of the integrity of our voting process is one of the PRIME directives of socialist/communist tactics... to devalue and degrade the right to vote by degrading the system and using the courts to decide plebiscites.

No, I only post as catsrus. I didn’t know there was a similar name until you highlighted it in one of your posts. I have never used my name as Cat R Us. So, I don’t know where you are coming from in that regard. I’m not sure when I joined this site, but have used only one name. I don’t have to have the mods verify the ISP because I know I only have one name on here. If it makes you feel better, then by all means, have the mods verify this for you. I don’t have any objections to that.

Yes, Fairfield is a good county, but the drug problem here is horrific. By the way, I found this on the Lancaster Eagle Gazette a few minutes ago:

www.lancastereaglegazette.com

COLUMBUS — An Ohio history professor’s analysis of absentee ballot requests found a significant shift in Republican enthusiasm in the battleground state since 2008.

The University of Dayton’s Larry Schweikart tallied absentee ballot requests so far in 2012 and compared them to similar requests four years ago. His review showed a 7-point swing in favor of the GOP.

Still more Democrats than Republicans requested early ballots, but Democrats’ percentage advantage has shifted from 33-19 in 2008 to 30-23 this year.

“In 2008, Obama cleaned McCain in absentee voting,” Schweikart said in a news release announcing the findings. “McCain actually won the statewide vote on Election Day, but he was too far buried in the absentee and early vote count. Early voting in Ohio began earlier this month and could still produce some surprises.”

Schweikart found some of the most significant swings came in the state’s large, heavily Democratic urban counties. Summit County, where Akron is located, led urban counties in pro-Republican swings with a 24-point shift.

“In terms of absentee ballot requests, Republicans are hugely over-performing their 2008 levels, and the Democrats are underperforming compared to 2008, especially in the big counties,” he said. “What this means is that the polls are wrong. For weeks polls have shown an Obama lead ranging from 1 point to 8 points. But these absentee ballot requests reflect a huge enthusiasm gap among Democrats and Republicans, and I’m predicting a total shift from 2008.”

Speaking of the anti-LDS mantra, I get attacked on this issue from my so-called friends as well. They say because I am a Christian, that I am voting against the Bible because Mormons are a cult. I point out that I’m not voting for a pastor, but for an administrator for this country. You should see the nasty things they post about Mormons - then turn around and say they are Christians and being led by God to vote for Obama.

Color me confused! If I feel led to vote for Mitt, and they feel “led” to vote for Obama, which one of us is being led by the true God and which one by the false god of this world? Obama’s policies don’t hold up against what we are taught in the Bible. I won’t go into theology differences with the Mormon church, as I’ve had some very good friends who are Mormons, and treated and acted more Christian toward me than those who are pro-Obama and say such hateful, nasty things.

>> you should apologize.

Sure thing. I’m sorry you and catsrus are naive chumps without discrimination skills, who carry water for the likes of DU and Daily Kos (NEED LINKS??), in your despicable zeal to attack Mitt Romney and give aid and comfort to our mortal enemy Barack Obama. I hope and trust my apology is acceptable to you?

>> I’m going to check with one of the principals to see what I can find out about this rumor....and if it has any basis in fact. If I hear anything I’ll post it.

I’m counting on it, bigstuff! And I’m making a note to “get back to you” and rub your high-minded nose in it when you DON’T. Fair enough?

It is always good to know what the enemy is up to. I don’t blame you for wanting to find out the background on this and the truth.

We all know the Libs are desperate now, and will certainly try to find something innocent they can add their lies to and put it out just before the election. They always play that game. I realize you are trying to get to the truth, even if others here do not.

He won’t carry Cuyahoga County

On a regular day, no, of course not. My home county.

But I was just dreaming that if Tagg owned the voting machines, he would make sure that dad got something like, oh, let's say 92% of the votes, just like the dems would do if they owned the machines. Only the dems would make sure Barky got 110%. ;-)

I don’t know why you’re so mad at him for posting this. I do think you owe him an apology.

If it’s a narrative the left is going to pound, we should discuss it. I get good tips on how to word pushing-back from FR.
