Report: US, Iran to hold one-on-one talks about Tehran's nuclear program
The United States and Iran have reportedly agreed to one-on-one negotiations over Tehran’s nuclear program.
The talks -- reported first by The New York Times and based on discussions with Obama administration officials -- come as Iran is believed to be building a nuclear weapon and as a result is under heavy economic sanctions.
Israel is warned that Iran is close to achieving nuclear capability and has pushed for the United State vow to take military action if needed.
State Department spokesman Victoria Nuland said Saturday night she has no information to report as of yet. And the Defense Department referred questions to the White House.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, has the last word on whether the firs-ever talks should occur, according to The Times.
Iranian officials have insisted that the talks wait until after the presidential election.
Election Day is less than three weeks away. And the final debate between President Obama and Mitt Romney, on Monday, is about foreign policy.

Yeah, foreign affairs October surprise is not going to cut it.
Might gain him a point or two, but people are focused on the economy like a laser beam.
Morris has been warning of this October surprise for a couple of weeks.

Having direct talks with the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism only legitimizes a POS government in the eyes of their own people. Why would Iran possibly listen? What is Obama going to say to them to convince them they shouldn’t wipe Israel off the face of the earth.
But Slow-Joe said, in the Ryan debate, that the development of Iran’s nuke bomb wasn’t any big f’n deal since they don’t have a delivery system (”...they don;t have aROCKET!”). So is this a reversal of Joe’s position, when he was presumably talking on behalf of the Soetoro Regime? This new tactic by Barry makes little sense.
I think we went through this before....with Obama....and it never happened because of Iran’s terms. It was a farce and so is this.

Read on Twitter that the White House is denying this is true..but people have to give Dick Morris credit, for all the crazy things he says sometimes he was right on the money about this..and about the election to. He’s been the only one for months saying that Romney had this election in the bag
I forgot to post my thoughts when I heard Morris speak about the deal having already gone through without Congress or the American People being aware it was in the works and a done deal. How suspect!
As Morris explained there supposedly is no commitment on length of time the Iranians are going to go along with their end of the bargain (about ceasing their uranium enrichment) while sanctions are lifted. Of course we all know that Obama will advertise this as a great feat of successful diplomacy...even though again he is proving to us he’s a foreign policy fool.
Looks like an Iran double cross to me. Iran stalls and makes it look like they are cooperating with 0 and Iran keeps on with the nukes. They don’t want Romney to get elected because he would nuke them.
The proposed agreement?:
“Iran, I will allow you to keep your reactor(s) for peaceful purposes. I will give you 25 high-yield thermonuclear weapons. In return, you will stop messing with Israel until after the election. After that, you can do what you want. Deal?”
Hmmmm....and just how many planed talks, meetings and high level diplomatic discussions has Iran made a monkey of the US in the past?
Not to mention the desire to obliterate the Great Satan.
Come on.
At the same time, Iran is negotiating with Egypt...to help them with their nuclear program....aka.....watch what the left hand is doing.
