You make its adherents the first ‘conservation casualties’ of their goal.
Their milestone goals of energy pollution and the environment, CO2’s disasterous effects on global temperature, and all the other tree-hugger, feel good “save this or that” are just hiding the real goal.
Their self-hatred, for humanity itself, is paramount. A world devoid of the humans they hate, all except for themselves in which they will masters and controllers of all they survey as earth’s conservators.
The first step is to openly deride and ridicule anyone and everyone that even utters the words “global warming”.
Isolate them, marginalize them, make THEM the problem, blame them for every disaster and downturn, then ideologically destroy them.
Remember the hysteria about the ozone hole? Global warming is fading in the same manner. No one except a few leftists take it seriously any more. That’s why Obama is not making it a campaign issue. He would be wasting his time and money.
These “Global Warming People” and “Earth whatever they are” - should go protest in the Middle East, China, Russia, and other places that cover more surface area than the US - and pollute to extreme measures & see how that works out for them...the US alone can’t save the globe from CO2 emissions — and in the end - their whole argument is just that - smelly gas!

Just as Obama told the San Fransickos that he would have to make some appeals in 2008 to the people who “cling to God and guns” and as he told the Ruskies that he would be able to whittle America’s nuclear arsenal down more after the 2012 election, he certainly must’ve made some similar closed door declaration to the Greenie Weenies. As if Obama hasn’t done enough damage to America’s petroleum industry.
