Amen indeed! Thank you for all your hard work, and the inspiration and encouragement you give us with your "braying".

God bless you, dear sir, and continue to grant you His peace--and wisdom!

Funny in that the Dems/Team Obama will be crying foul when they see that clip and how FNS manipulated the video to show Obama is a not-so-flattering manner.

Any time Fearless Leader is actually quoted is a bad time for the Democrats instead of them being able to have a "this is what he should have said" moment. Kind of like what happened after the first debate.

And making Obama move it along instead of going into his southern drawl is another problem, so speeding up the tape is a double whammy.

Not sure I can stomach Lindsey Graham, but he will probably talk about Benghazi. Line ups on the other programs seem geared to the election.

Lindsay Graham reminds me of the nursery rhyme -- When he is good, he is very very good, But when he is bad, He is
HORRID

But before I do...

Pissy and fellow RAT-hacks discussing how and whether O’bomber should spin the video/terrorist story. (Matthews: “It looks bad”)

Now covering the Catholic dinner, including the tingle/stroke remark.

I believe this whole Benghazi-gate was an answer to prayer: what the Evil one meant for, well—EVIL—God has turned to good by exposing what “children” of “the father of lies” have so desperately struggled to keep covered up.
And, if it is true that the CIA has as its motto, “The truth will set you free”, don’t tell me that God doesn’t have a wonderful, and in this case very wry, sense of humor!

While the events might be providential, I think it is at least arguable that Benghazi, while not the most cataclysmic event of Obama’s presidency, is the one that has most completely EXPOSED him for what he is: a pathological liar who cannot extract even a fiber of his being from politics, much as the Soviet commisars were vested to do by their keepers in the Politburo.

In short, Obama is really litte more than a hack.

Well that just goes back to the judgement of the Obama Administration to open an Embassy there in the first place. They didn’t have a clue about what they were getting into. Just like microeconomics, they ignore the facts and pretend as if they know-it-all and have the answers.

Graham: Benghazi was a death trap.

NOT A SPONTANEOUS RIOT.

Leading from behind is a total failure.

Graham was GREAT!

To expect the Libyan police to protect a US Ambassador is idiotic.

Not idiotic at all. The host country is responsible for protecting diplomatic missions. We do it in the US. The Bureau of Diplomatic Security is responsible for assisting foreign embassies and consulates in the United States with the security for their missions and personnel.

If we don't have host country assistance to provide security assistance, then there is no way we can defend our embassies. The issue with Libya was that there was no real government in place, especially in a place like Benghazi, to provide that assistance. We should not place our people in such places period.

The purpose of US furnished armed protection for diplomatic facilities abroad is to buy enough time so the host country can come to our assistance.

Excellent points. The contrast between presidents’ reactions is stark.

And I make these distinctions noting that hardly anyone on FR has bashed Bush (from the right) as much as I have over the years.

But I have always reserved for myself the argument that in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 he was simply superb. I can really only imagine that Reagan, in my time, could have done better in those final months of 2001.

“He could have won 60-40, if not better, by merely galvanizing the attention of the American people on what was really an attack on all of us.”

I'm not so sure I agree with this.....there are too many people like me who would vote for dog catcher rather than Obama. He “killed” Osama and the polls were still against him. The attack should not have happened with and, especially without resources to counter it.

Lindsay Graham did much better than I thought he would. Dick Durbin “Ministry of Truth’ed” us - no you didn’t hear and see what you heard and saw after the 9/11 Libya attack (it’s the video), but he was subdued. I think they know the BO is toast.

As government employees, I am sure they have been told not to comment publicly on what happened. Why? Because it is under investigation. At least that will be the reason given. Also, it appears from public documents released on Friday that most of those assigned there were with the intelligence agencies.

However, in the case of Lybia is it a country that has the capability of protecting a facility? Does the presence of terrorist-related groups make that abundantly clear?

We should not have had a mission in Benghazi for sure. The place was a hotbed of AQ along with a wild west environment that had weapons in the hands of everyone. It was a death trap, which is why the US was the last flag standing.

Given the events and incidents leading up to the attack, it was criminal to put our people in such a position. Tripoli may be better in terms of host government capabilities and responsiveness.
