"The President was informed of the tragic shooting in Wisconsin earlier today at 1:30pm EDT by his Advisor for Homeland Security, John Brennan.
At 2:30pm EDT, the President received a follow-up briefing from FBI Director Bob Mueller, his Chief of Staff, Jack Lew, and Advisor for Homeland Security John Brennan. The President was told there was an active shooter in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The President was informed that the shooting did not appear to be terrorism-related

Mitt’s insistence of explicitly “putting Obama on the record” in the last debate had to have been some part of his strategy for tomorrow’s debate. Just what how that will entrap Obama remains to be seen.
Why is it a Federal matter?

They are really stretching this to make it seem that the Prez is fully informed of everything at all times....which everyone knows is pure poppycock after the disaster at our Libyan embassy.
Joe Biden bumped his head today jumping over a piece of string......the president was informed by the FBI,CIA,Homeland,IRS,Hillary,Bubba,Janet Reno,NYT,Bo,and a few friends in Iran.He’s waiting for Bob Schieffer to call in for instructions for tomorrow.
This incident underscores how an ‘act of terror’ is different than a ‘terrorist attack’.

This is correct - prez The Won could care less. This is a domestic violence act by an xhusband (I think)that just was issued a worthless restraining order. His x wife worked at this spa where the shootings were done. 7 shot and wounded at this point, no deaths, thank God. This guy ought to look at Chicago murders.
This faux prez went to bed while the State Dept. was watching in REAL TIME to the Benghazi murders. That was total murder as no one was sent to help these 4 Americans. This is the ultimate “voting present” by this faux prez. I hope and pray that Romney nails his XXXXXXX to the floor in this debate.
Obama watched the shooting in real time from the situation room.
Obama’s credo - Never let a crisis go to waste! Wonder how much he will milk this in a must-win state like Wisconsin. Prepare for him to use this to try to shift the focus from Libya, as only Obama can.
