Mystery Letter Tells US Citizen He Isn't Eligible to Vote
breitbart ^ | 10/22/12 | Mike Flynn

Charles Callaghan is a registered voter and resident of Florida. He was born in the US and has always been a US citizen. So you can imagine his surprise when a received a letter, purportedly from his county's election office, questioning his citizenship status and, subsequently, his eligibility to vote this November. The letter did not, in fact, come from the election office. It is completely fraudulent and was even mailed from Washington state.

A copy of the letter is at the bottom of this post. The letter states that it is coming from Vicky Oakes, the Supervisor of Elections in St. Johns County, Florida. However, the email it lists is inaccurate. Also note that, oddly, the letter was sent in first class mail from Seattle, Washington.

Breitbart News has obtained an e-mail Ms. Oakes sent to the Florida Department of State, requesting an investigation into the origins of the letter:

Good evening Bennett/Gary,

Please see the attached pdf letter that I have been sent by one of my voters questioning his eligibility. This is very suspicious, as this is not my letterhead or from me although it has all of my office information and has all appearances of being from me and my office. This is the first one of these I have seen or heard or. I am grateful to Mr. Callaghan for scanning and sending me the information directly, including the envelope.

wow. Wonder how many people won’t show up to vote because they believe the garbage being put out by the obama campaign “strategists”

Nice strategy. Tell real voters they can’t vote and let the fakes go in and vote for them. nice

Doesn’t get any more disgusting than this. Fortunately, all of the network news shows will be covering this tonight, so people are going to be informed. Yeah, sure they will...

My daughter got a letter from the county where she goes to college asking for more information to complete her registration to vote. Shocked we were!

She thinks she may have signed something saying she would vote, but not register, since she is already registered in her home county.

I called the elections office and the lady said, “Oh, they just have voter registration drives on campus.” and didn’t take issue with it. They have a registration on file with a signature on it and we will check it out this week.

She didn’t seem to think it was a big deal since it didn’t take effect unless my daughter finished it. I told her that I take issue with someone forging her signature and that is a felony and if we find that is the case, we will pursue it.

“Oh.” was the response.

She didn’t seem to think it was a big deal???????? ARGHHHHH!!!!

I’m curious to see if she was registered for a party affiliation...

A ham-handed and clumsy ploy. A sign of desperation.

It’s from Seattle, that stronghold of rigid conservatism, so it must be another vast right-wing conspiracy.

This is a new variety of the same tactic that almost elected Al Gore in 2000. Remember? In the late afternoon, a Texas Telemarketing firm was calling elderly people on the Eastern coast of Florida, telling them that their votes were not being counted or otherwise being distorted--launching the "hanging chad" gambit; deliberately confusing & alarming those most easily confused.

This should be investigated with the most modern forensic techniques, to identify who is behind it.

This letter and undoubtably the thousands of other letters like this that have been mailed to voters must be investigated and the persons doing this and the candidates they support should be prosecuted.

If the letter went to a Republican, that’s the last we will hear of it. If it went to a democrat, it will be all over the news with cries of fraud and racism.

My question is “How did someone/group in Washington state get the voter rolls in Florida?” This has serious voter fraud implications.

New tagline.

Vicki Oakes runs a tight ship here in St. Johns County. There won’t be any hanky panky on her watch.

Have no fear. The UN is sending observers to be on the lookout for Republican voter fraud.

Anyone living Anywhere can purchase a copy of the voters rolls for ANY location.

I worked on a campaign about 11 years ago & we purchases a copy of the county voter rolls for about $10.

These are public records, so the country registrar cannot refuse you.

I didn’t know that. It still stinks! that a letter of citizenship eligibility in Florida, purportedly from a county official, is sent from Seattle, Washington. Kudos to Mr. Callaghan for checking the postmark.
